Sheeba was solid! The food was delicious. There’s so many great options so you can’t really go wrong with what you order. The menu is a bit pricey, but the food is great and the portions are pretty large so it can sort of justify the price. The service was a little on the slower side but, I think it was just because they were so busy. Everyone there was super pleasant so no knock on the staff at all – I think it was just a busy night. Overall, great place for some Yemeni and Mediterranean food!

Not sure where to even start. This was our first time trying Yemeni food, as well as the restaurant. This will also be our last time. I guess we can start with not receiving many of the items. What’s the point of ordering Baba ghanoush if they forget your pita bread? How about paying $25 for 1 meal that advertises pickled turnips & peas/corn/carrots and they don’t give you any of them? No message or heads up, no replacement, they just packed it up and sent it on its way. We went up to the restaurant (which eliminated the whole DoorDash point) and they had no urgency to help, left us standing at the entrance for awhile. Had to talk to 2 different people before a manager finally came and gave us 1 piece of Pita. Without being bias from the experience, let’s rate the food. Chicken Tawook was dry chicken & dry rice. Baba Ganouj was worst we’ve had. Pita was decent. Tabouli was good. We won’t be back. Wouldn’t order again.

Terrible place to spend your money!!

First, let me say that I am not picky! I never leave bad reviews. I had never tried Sheeba before. I ordered my food over the phone with Hassam (Chicken schwarma plate with rice and lentil soup). When I arrived to pick it up, my food was not ready and THAT WAS BECAUSE they did not even have an order in the computer for me. I was told that I ordered from the wrong location. This happened on New Year’s Eve at 8:40 p.m., during a bad snowstorm(see pic). The roads were terrible. While the cashier entered my order upon arrival, I was told they have no soup left and was given the choice of fatoosh or nothing. As the person named Hassan walked past him, he asked him if he took an order for a shawarma plate. Hassam that said that he did, though I was offered no type of apology from the cashier or ANYONE after just being accused/blamed of ordering from the wrong location.

I waited 20 minutes for my order. About 5 minues into my wait, I asked for a discount, but was denied (WOW!! Not impressed!) I was not rude at all to them. I did, however, let the cashier know that I would not be back and that I would be leaving a Google review. He told me they might be able to throw something in extra, but he had to ask the owner. I waited 15 more minutes before he returned with my order. He said nothing except “have a good night.” I drove home.

Once home, I opened my food carryout. There was NOTHING extra in it, and they didn’t even give me bread! Furious, I began eating and bit into a cardamom seed(which are supposed to be removed after cooking because they are disgusting to bite into)(see pic). That was it for me!! Chicken noodle soup for myself and my son for New Year’s Eve dinner!

Shame on them for the entire ordeal! There were 2 familys of 4 in the restaurant. They were not even busy! I will never go back 100%!

As a business owner myself, I am aware that customer service is a necessity unless you want to lose them. This owner obviously does not appreciate his customers, nor the money he takes from them. I wish I could have a talk with him to let him know that myself, my family and my friends will no longer be his customers. He should also know that having his children, working for him is ruining his business. STOP being cheap, pissing off your customers, and finding no way to rectify the situation, or you won’t make it very long in the city of Canton, where there are many other Mediterranean restaurants to choose from. Shame, shame!

I recently visited Sheeba and it was an amazing experience. The food was full of authentic Middle Eastern flavor and everything tasted fresh and perfectly cooked. We tried the Lamb Haneeth and Fattoush and both dishes were outstanding tender, well seasoned and truly delicious.

The worst buffet I’ve ever experienced.
I went today with my family to try Yemeni cuisine, and it turned out to be a huge disappointment. The food quality was shockingly poor—weak flavor, not fresh, and nowhere near what you’d expect from a Yemeni restaurant. The buffet selection was limited. Mandi chicken had zero taste, the meat Agda was tough, and the Fahsa and Tuna were placed in the same tray, making it impossible to even tell them apart. Every single dish was cold.
I asked for Arabic bread and was told it’s not included in the buffet. No tea, no coffee, not even a single hot drink offered.
In the end, I paid $84 for nothing.
Never back again!

Let me start by saying I have been a fan of Yemeni Sheeba for years but always visited the old location on Warren rd. Now they have another on Mich ave and latest this canton location.
I placed and order for Sheeba for two lamb Haneeth received it upon checking I saw less meat vs other locations. Just massive portion or rice. I asked why and the guy told me yeah sheeba lamb haneeth for two comes with 1 and 1/2 portions of meat. I again asked so why call it sheeba for two? Maybe call it sheeba for 1 and 1/2. I asked how come other locations give more meat? He again repeated the same line you get one portion and another half. In middle of arguing he ceded and said ok brother I add more for you. He added more meat to make it 2 portions. I again asked how do you gauge the portions? By weight? He replied no some portions are more some less all depends. Not good practice if you ask me as I’m paying eighty dollars for an order for two. Maybe start weighing or have a standard as this is confusing. I will probably keep going to the other locations just to avoid arguing about food Im paid for. I circled in white the extra he added on my photo.

I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff were warm, friendly, and very attentive. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal. I’ll definitely be coming back! A special thanks to Salem for taking a such great care of us. You made our visit even more enjoyable.

I had a great experience. Friendly service. Salim was excellent His recommendation was great. It was a dinner for two that was built around Lamb or chicken Haneeth. We chose the lamb and it was delicious. With it we had a choice of Fahsah or Seltah, both options are served bubbling in a clay pot. We went with Seltah for the vegetables. It was delicious and flavorful and is served with their tandoor bread, which was amazing too. They also brought garlic sauce and a tomato dip accompaniments too. More food was served than we could eat so we went home with lunch for tomorrow and they gave us a Yemen tea to take for the road that was such a nice treat on a cold day with a long drive home.

Overall the food was good except the Baba ganoush.
We ordered combo for four which as pretty generous. Not a big deal but lentil soup and salad suppose to be included, however, we were charged for soup without informing.
They didn’t have kids burger that was also inconvenient. Service was not ok !! Slow, no drink and despite asking for stuff we had to get up few times to get our napkins and box for leftovers.
Food on the other hand was delicious especially the Lamb Haneeth was spot on.
I do understand the Ramadan time service perhaps was interrupted but management could have hire few more staff to amortize the pressure.
May be carry out next time, not dinning in for sure.
