Why is it soo cold in this shake shack.. 3 thermostats at 69 degrees OMFG. It’s 38 degrees outside. Are u serious.. I guess the owner don’t want to pay for heat.. Unbelievable… Not coming back to this raggedy shake shack,, My damn coke soda was flat workers gave me attitude. I guess they don’t want ppl to dine in.. It’s also dirty. They need to clean up. The owner needs to do better. Please don’t come to this shake shack in downtown jersey city. Run please run..

It’s a 29 burgers order. Had such an amazing experience at Shake Shack! Everyone on the team was super friendly, patient, and attentive — they handled my large order with great care.

I had a great experience at Shake Shack today thanks to David’s outstanding service. I was waiting in line to order at the kiosk when he kindly approached me and offered to take my order directly at the register. Not only did he take care of everything with a smile, but he also brought the tray to my table and checked in to see if I needed anything else. In today’s world, it’s rare to find people who are genuinely friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make a difference. David truly made my visit memorable. thank you!

This shake shack may have been the worse shake shack of all shake shacks I’ve ever been to — & I’m only writing this review since my boyfriend went to grab us something & he had the same experience I had.
I was giving the place the benefit of the doubt, as the first time I went it was fairly new & testing it’s waters.
It’s not new anymore, & it does not seem to show any improvement. The lack of energy/care/devotion/basic manners of the employees is considerably questionable. Their overall service was horrible & it shows they do not care one bit.
They speak loudly with personal drama & with such detail as if there are no customers in sight. It’s disgusting to think that any of that is okay… no consideration what so ever.
As far as the food portion of this complaint…
My boyfriends shake was great, he loved it. As for me, my cheese fries were horrible & couldn’t even eat it & I absolutely LOVE fries from this business.
They were cold. I can handle not fresh — but it was to the point that they were not tasty & the cheese looked weird. Perhaps it was running out?
He explained — apparently they were scooping the cheese w a cup. He also stated that one of the employees face mask was hanging off his head…
Lastly, it would just be nice to feel welcomed & not feel like a bother when walking into a business where you spend over $20 for a fast-food MEAL. Because let’s face it — it’s not a cheap. We are paying for quality food items & should not be treated as such.

I’ve never had such an infuriating experience at a Shake Shack. My order (and another customer’s order) were clearly finished and sitting on the pickup rack, yet we were left standing there for nearly 10 minutes while the employee at the counter chose to casually chat with coworkers in the back instead of doing her job.
She didn’t acknowledge us, didn’t check the rack, didn’t say a single word—just completely ignored the people waiting right in front of her. It was unbelievably frustrating and felt like customer service was the absolute last priority here.
If this is the level of “service” this location thinks is acceptable, I won’t be returning. There are too many other places that actually respect their customers’ time.

The crew here is really good, welcoming and professional. Food consistently comes out fresh but they are willing to help if you feel any other way. Thank you taalib and scarlet for making the experience nice at shake shack .

Visited the Shake Shack in Jersey City recently and had a great experience overall. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and the space was clean with a relaxed vibe. I tried the Dubai Shake. It’s sweet but not overpowering, and the texture was smooth with a subtle crunch from pistachios. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for something unique beyond the usual vanilla or chocolate.

The food is overpriced and doesn’t hit all the time. Sometimes the fries are cold. I ordered the holiday drink with the layer of hard chocolate on the inside of the cup. They didn’t put the chocolate. I was too chicken to bring it up with the staff, but I was disappointed. The food is also not ready at the time suggested in the app, so I I’d better to arrive when minutes after scheduled pickup time.

I’ve been there 4 times. Bad, slow service every time. The 4th time, I made an order and intentionally didn’t leave a tip. I was the only person waiting for my order. Not only they took forever to start making the order and forever to prepare it, but when they were done making the shake one of the girls literally put it in the fridge right in front of me then started chatting with her coworker. I continued waiting for a few minutes confused then asked her for the shake. The attitude i got was “why are you bothering me, I have no time for this”. She goes away and starts randomly looking at screen and walking around. Then, a few minutes later, she pulls the shake from the fridge and hands it to me.
I asked for the manager and asked him what’s the reason this order was never called and was put away right infront of me then when I asked for it, the person who put it in the fridge started playing around before handing it to me. The manager didn’t have an answer of course and just brushed me off. So I walked off and enjoyed my saggy melted shake.
Never going back there that’s for sure
