We had a lovely dinner here tonight. Use your phone to translate the menus, but the staff are multilingual and very welcoming. The malikoff (fried cheese balls) were super young, as well as the “courageous potatoes” (thanks Google translate!). Great selection of wines. Pictured, the burrata, which looked a bit like a snowman, no? Food was all small plates, plus cheese boards.

This bar and restaurant has a gorgeous terrace in a pedestrian street. The vibe in Summer is very relaxing, almost feels like being in the South and is often quite busy. Food is really good and inventive, personnel friendly and inside the big wooden table and the bar give give the place much character, worthy of the name..

Just stopped in for an after dinner drink with friends. Three of us had tea, and one had an Irish coffee. Service was fast and friendly. The bill was reasonable. The ambiance was nice, with enough background noise to feel lively, but not so much that it was hard to hear. (on a Saturday night)

This is, deservedly, a famous place in Geneva. A bar and restaurant with an early 20th century feel and total service. So glad to have stumbled on this gem. If you’d like to be in the centre of the generous, genuine, Genevois hospitality and authenticity, this is very much the place.

I went there twice in two weeks with a friend from out of town. I took the day’s menu one time, one time à la carte and my friend tried their burgers. It was delicious, with sizeable portions, and served with a smile. The only slightly negative point that I could find was that the chocolate moelleux was a bit on the dry side (but the sherbet was delicious!). Also, the municipality wants to close on of their terraces for traffic, and that would be an awful shame!

Nice bar to have a drink (never eat there) with 4-5 type of tapas.

Nice setting.

Service: always friendly and welcoming but not that fast

Possibility to book the downstairs for parties

Unfortunately the food was very average… patatas bravas with BBQ sauce instead of real Spanish sauce. Their wines are ok, but nothing exciting.

The food is very good, the ambiance very nice made, the waiters were fairly friendly, but didn’t appear wanting to serve us for the first half hour. Which is a little strange but not uncommon in this area
