If I had rated only my first visit, it would be a 4 or 5 star rating for the great burger, fries and shake (see pictures).
But I did return 2 days later and got a rather sloppy assembled burger and a portion of fries that was missing something – mainly some more fries. Now, the burger was tasty, but with the half-assed (ie half portion) of fries and the sloppy assembly, it felt like no payback for not tipping them which I feel was justified, if you go to the counter to order and to pick up your food and the only “service” is that the actually prepared what they sold you, which seems like a prerequisite for selling it. Ultimately, I’m not sure whether it was payback or just a burger cook who happens to like the leaning tower of Pisa though…

Shake Shack is absolutely worth a stop! The burgers are incredibly delicious — juicy patties with loads of melted cheese. Pair them with the crinkle-cut fries topped with cheese and bacon for the perfect combo. The place is clean, has a good atmosphere, and the wait time is short.

Love their burgers. However, I have to compliant that their app really stinks. It keeps running in loop when I select the store and ready to order, and it took me back to looking for the store. In addition, I zoomed out of the app, my order disappeared and I had to start all over again. The whole process is just so inconveniently unnecessary.
I got their seasonal Smoky Classic BBQ burger, bacon cheeseburger, and fries. The bacon cheeseburger was nice, but kind of boring. The smoky classic BBQ burger was flavorful, but the sauce made the last few bites of the burger turned into a slimy slob. The fries were great as usual.
I really missed the truffle burgers!

Shake Shack never disappoints!
The taste is always consistent – delicious, indulgent, and yes, just as calorific as ever (but that’s part of the charm!). We were served by a genuinely friendly team who made the whole experience cheerful and fun. A reliable stop for a feel-good bite!

Had really bad chicken sandwich to the point where there’s almost no chicken and nothing but breaded crust and also they oversalt on their sandwich! Look at all the breaded crust taken out. There’s barely any chicken to eat!

It’s just another Shake Shack. With all the options in NYC midtown, if it’s not the burger month (free burger!) I wouldn’t come :P. But the burgers are still great and I appreciate the lattice wrap option.

Love this burger chain. It’s great. The burgers quality is amazing in any store you go to. They are like butter because they are so good that melts in you mouth. Recommended if you want some fast food but better quality.

I was having trouble at the kiosk and Milinda came up and asked if I needed help. I really appreciated that!! The quality was up to standard and I like that the entire space was clean. I took photos of the seating because it can be limited. Great stop for nice burgers

Food was consistent with other Shake Shacks, but this location lacked customer comforts. Very limited seating that was monopolized by a single family with their belongings spread across the entire counters. No restrooms, so nowhere to wash your hands after riding the subway all morning. Luckily there were forks, so I ate a burger with a fork for the first time in callable memory. Good in a pinch, but wouldn’t seek this spot out.
