We started with the stuffed mushrooms, which were excellent — beautifully marinated and cooked to perfection in the tandoor. The Gobi starter was also outstanding — crispy, well seasoned, and perfectly coated with masala. The Naga chilli paneer was spicy and very flavorful, with paneer that was soft inside and nicely crisp on the outside. The Kaju paneer dhaba style was a good, rich curry and paired very well with roomali roti and butter garlic naan.
The Paneer Mandi was a huge portion and easily enough for three people to share. The veg sweet corn soup was perfect, and the Kattappa Biryani was a spicy, flavorful vegetable biryani that stood out nicely.
For dessert, we ordered Shahi Tukda. The first time I had it here it was amazing, but this time it wasn’t what we expected — it was served as milk with white bread, without the usual brown caramelized color on the bread and without the milk being thickened. When we spoke to the server, she explained that this is how the entire batch was and offered to cancel the order or replace it, which we appreciated.
Service-wise, however, the experience has definitely gone down. No one came to the table to clear plates. When we asked the server, she said she would send someone, and then walked to the back area herself. That raised a genuine question for me — is it really hospitality if team members can’t clear plates when they are already walking back, or is it so strictly divided that only one person is allowed to do that job?
Because of this, while the food remains very good and worth visiting for, the service experience doesn’t match the quality of the food anymore. We would still order food from Shaaz, but for dine-in, we would think twice
One thing I really liked was that the mandi was served with sides. The ambiance stood out—the decorative lights were very beautiful and gave the place a nice vibe. On top of that, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience better overall.
Finally got a chance to go. Serving meat.
Buffet is mixed of non veg and veg items.
I tried few dishes.
BBQ and Fried items are got. Chicken 65 tastes good. Reminded me Dubai.
Shahi Paneer and Paneer Tika massalah both are delicious.
Mandi is tastes good too. Freshly backed Butter Naan ✌️
Haleem and Mong dal Halwa was Amazing, so tasty, so yummy both items are deserving 5✴️
Irani tea was not available, hopefully get it next time.
Surly go again.
The appetizers we ordered also lacked consistency. They had same shapes and sizes but marketed as different flavors like pepper and Telangana spice, yet there was hardly any noticeable difference in taste.
To their credit, the staff did acknowledge the issue and offered a complimentary dessert, which I appreciate. However, serving undercooked rice and meat is a serious concern and cannot be overlooked.
If you’re specifically looking for authentic mandi, I would not recommend this place. I personally will not be visiting again.
Mandi was delicious and tasty, Hyderabadi chicken and Raja Rani chicken was really delicious. Last time I went to their Scarborough location and the rice serving was more that enough for 4 people. I found that their was a thin layer of rice on the platter, not enough for 4 people.
The only thing I didn’t like was their Washrooms, not very clean, very dated and in need of a complete redo.

We recently ordered food for a party of thirty five people and the experience was amazing. We had chicken fried rice, chicken noodles, chicken lollipop with gravy, and chicken manchurian. Everything was cooked to perfection and prepared exactly the way we requested.
Each and every person at the party enjoyed the food. My two year old birthday girl loved it and so did all the adults. The flavours were spot on and everyone kept talking about how good everything tasted.
The portions were very generous and there was more than enough for everyone. Our guests even took some home to enjoy later.
A special mention to Shadab for always giving us the best service whether we dine in or take out. He truly outdid himself with this party order and made the experience even better.
Highly recommended.
We ordered –
Chicken Kalmi kebab – it lacked salt and flavour
Paneer tikka – paneer was too rubbery for us to enjoy, also lacked salt
Reshmi seekh – the meat wastoo tough and the seekh lacked flavours
Mutton burrah – not exactly ehat a burrah is, burrah is a specific dish with exact flavouts, the mutton here was lack luster, with the marination sitting on the surface, and the mutton itself lacking flavour
Butter chicken – an embarrassment to the name of butter chicken, just coz a dish is tomato based, doesn’t mean that all it should be. Also, the chicken in the butter chicken was boiled, which is just disgusting. You have to make tandoori tikka to make butter chicken. Thats just the basic recipe, an average white person could look up an average butter chicken recipe and still do a better job than them.
The highlight for us was the naan, so light and crispy, and literally perfect!
Just a side note, that the lemon that comes with drinks should not be the same cut as the lemon that comes with the masala onion.
Another thing we noticed was the insane amount of fruit flies in the restaurant and the washroom. This shows lack of hygiene and no proper sanitization and cleaning by the staff. There is no reason that a restaurant should have fruit flies if the kitchen and washroom are being kept clean.
