We had a wonderful experience!! My husband and I enjoyed everything. The service was great and the food was phenomenal. Wonderful atmosphere. I definitely recommend the flautas and the chile rellenos.

GREAT food, TREMENDOUS atmosphere. They make the Guacamole right in front of you and it was THE BEST I have ever had! We decided to eat outside as it was Labor Day weekend and it was a beautiful evening watching the sunset over the mountains! My family and I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant! I even searched for this restaurant to find it so I can right a good review IT WAS THAT GOOD!

This was my favorite Mexican food ever! I’ve had a lot and I’m a cook. The salsa had so much flavor I took a pint to go. All of the food had wonderful flavors! My party had the tacos, fajitas, and taco salad. We also liked the beans and rice. Worth the wait…

The food was SO GOOD and the chef was very friendly. I highly recommend! However, when we went there was some sort of drama going on between the waitress and another staff member and she was yelling curse words from the kitchen, being rude to customers, and at one point she was even crying.. She never brought us water or checked on us, but between the friendly buss boy and chef we had our needs met. Definitely an odd experience, but I can’t deny how delicious the food was!

Small place the stairs going could use a little improvement. But once your in some of the best tasting Mexican food, great salsa! Had the Border Patrol dish; delicious and so much food. My friend had a carnita burrito that was just stuffed with tasty tender pork. Definitely a place to stop and enjoy the flavors of Tasty food and good service!!

If I could have given a rating of less than one star I would have. AVOID THIS PLACE at all costs. The food is disgusting and over priced. I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning. Our first clue should have been that at peak hours we were the only customers. We were seated for about 90 minutes and during that time we didn’t see another single customer. The salsa is THE WORST I have ever had. Guacamole was flavorless.I had to eat the re-fried beans with a spoon they were so watered down. The owner is a psycho. We asked to talk with him about our dissatisfaction. He became defensive, yelling obscenities, hitting the table with his fist and calling us filthy names. Needless to say, he just lost his only three remaining customers. Believe all of the negative reviews on this place and go somewhere else that serves good food and appreciates your business.

They were definitely under staffed. I had a restaurant myself so I understand those issues. Having said that, when the waiter put our silver ware out a fork was still dirty. The waiter upon seeing it just tossed it on the floor as he replaced it. We got one refill on our drinks. One refill is only important because our food took over an hour to come out. One hour and fifteen minutes to be exact. Again I understand busy, but the waiter never addressed the time. No apology no explanation, just here’s your food. Which was bland. All five guests in my party didn’t finish their meal. I wouldn’t return. Ohh also five people with water and soda was 89.00.

Service was not good. Restaurant seemed a little grunge-y. Food was just okay. Never brought more chips. Four of us shared a tiny bowl of chips. We overheard a server telling other customers that this restaurant is closing and moving to Colorado Springs after this summer. I hope they can upgrade and improve.

I have been here before with my wife and the food and service was great. We were up that way again and thought we would take the whole family for good food and a great experience. But that wasn’t the case this time. The service wasn’t great and the food was substandard. On top of that the price was outrageous. We will not be returning ever again.

This place is funky in the best possible way. It’s in an old yellow house that’s been retrofitted as a restaurant. There’s probably about a dozen tables plus outdoor seating, very intimate. The food is all made to order and tastes like abuela made it. They make a decent margarita too, and the mountain view is beautiful. Everytime I go to Woodland Park I make it a point stop here.
