Not sure about that ONE bad review but the owner refunded the money without the customer returning to the store.
I flew in from the East Coast today and what a find!
As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and felt like family. The Italian sandwich and the grilled cheese were off the chain excellent! The owners engage you and are involved in your dining experience. Everything is incredible from the service, selections, food, and making you feel at home. It was so good that we are driving back 80 miles tomorrow on motorcycles to get more.
Susanna and Carol Ann are great people and easy on the eyes. Didn’t think I would be in the Pacific Northwest in a small town talking about Tiramisu recipes, but it was great. If you call ahead, she might even make one for you.
You need to go out of your way to experience this restaurant. Then you have the coffee bar with coffee, hot tea, and flavored water with real fruit.
This place is a must visit.

They did it again!
Everything was incredible from the usual friendly greeting to the family style customer service.
The BBQ was some of the best in the country.
The salad’s are presented perfect, full of great tasting fresh ingredients, and good for you too.
ALSO: Friday nights are family dinner night From 16:30 to 19:00. You get an entree cooked for to that day along with a vegetable, carbohydrate, and dessert plus a beverage. Right now, $20. You can call ahead to reserve, because it’s first come first serve.
Carolyn- I hope you are feeling better and I’m truly sorry that I missed your Tiramisu that you made specially for me. We will get together so I can experience your baking. Ciao.

I love going to this restaurant.. They make you feel like you belong there. The food is great and tasty. If you are ever in Colfax WA stop by in this restaurant. They are open Monday-Friday and the hours are 6:30 AM – 2:00 PM. They can make a sandwich into a salad if you do not want the bread! So stop by and try their delicious food..

This family is so sweet! Not only are they super friendly their food is amazing. My husband Josh got their Philly cheesesteak sandwhich for lunch and he said it was hands down the best sandwich he has had. We have also had their breakfast which is equally as delicious. If you are in need of good food Serfes is the place to go! We appreciate their support of our local business, and we plan to always support theirs which is easy to do when they are so great!

Everything about Serfes exceeded my expectations! I had the Tri-Tip sandwich and it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Customer service was great, everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was my sister’s birthday lunch and they surprised her with a very tasty crepe with a candle and sang happy birthday. (yes, i had a couple bites ).
