Our food was pretty good. The fries and pretzel were the highlight for me. The Cajun black bean burger was good too. It had a bite. There is NA beer available 🙂
Service was perfect. Friendly, fast, well-paced. QR code payment on the receipt. Nice.
Atmosphere is where things fell apart. The music was simply too loud for the space when combined with people’s chatter. And it was too dark. The ambient lighting wasn’t cutting it. I’m surprised my phone pulled these photos without a flash. I wanted out of there before I was done eating.
It was a snowy evening. The sloped walkway at the front entrance was untreated and treacherous. We struggled with that. Maybe just throw down some salt like most places in Michigan do?
The food and service justify another visit. I’ll try a different time and day of the week and see if it’s a bit more “cozy”.

Great drink prices and the service was top notch. I was told by many people how good the burgers are, so we had to try them. They were meh at best. We ordered medium and they were more like well done. Also they said 1/3 pound patties but they sure looked smaller than that. The onion rings were frozen food service style, i.e. Gordon foods. Again great drinks and service, not so much on the burgers. The calzone at the next table look incredible!

MY WIFE & I were out to meet with family for a birthday celebratory dinner. WE were early, & decided to stop in the Cozy Inn for a quick drink before heading to the restaurant. WE were greeted “Incredibly Well” by the waitress & seated. She brought menus, but WE informed Her that WE only wanted a quick drink, & would then have to be on OUR way! She then astounded US with the way WE were quickly served! I wish WE remembered Her name in order to say thanks to Her again! The Margarita was a good one!

Wow! What an unexpected gem . My son had a hockey game across the street so we had brunch here beforehand. The mimosas are strong, the Bloody Mary bar is legit, and the food is incredible! THE BEST waffles I’ve ever had. My only suggestions, and reason for 4 stars: Adding a kids menu. I had to pay for a pricy chicken and waffles meal for my 10 year old daughter to eat 1 of 2 waffles and zero chicken. It’s always appreciated to have meal options price proportionate to what some kids actually eat. And they could use more seating. We were going to be a party of 8, luckily 2 canceled, because it appeared they didn’t even have a table that fit 8 people.

Cute little bar that we stopped in to have a drink and an appetizer. We got the big pretzel It came with two dips they were both delicious. The service and atmosphere was perfect. They had great music playing at a perfect volume.

Decent place, but more so frustrations of experience. Ordered carry out. I got there early and asked about how long since I wanted to order a beer if I had a few minutes still. She checked and quickly replied it’s coming out now without letting me respond. There was a bit of time that I could have ordered a beer. Burgers were quite pink and likely were rushed as a result. Communication / listening is key, not assumption.

They are under new ownership and a lot of the really amazing things have been removed from the menu. If you’re looking for breakfast pizza, they don’t have it anymore, and half the beer they offer on the menu were also not stocked. Definitely not what it was. BUT… the wait staff was still fantastic and friendly!!

The Cozy Inn always has the best sports games on, their staff is very friendly and attentive, their food menu is straight awesome and we order take out weekly for wings, pizza and salad. I highly highly highly recommend the traditional Cajun spice dry rub wings, build your own pizza, and the Cobb salad. The food has exceeded expectations every time we’ve had it so we’re not afraid to try something new. The Cobb salad, and I say this in the most masculine way, was scrumptious.. lol but seriously though the consistency and everything in it paired perfectly together, the dressing was super flavorful but not overbearing, and it was portioned perfectly with lots of protein. That order was of the park. The food’s always great but everyone had something great to say about that dinner. Also coldest drinks and best pours around. They host a big pig roast party in the fall with a live band, buffet and cash bar on site which is a great time. They do a lot for the community, including the Cozy Inn Hockey Team! They have exceeded expectations every time we’ve been in there, it’s a fam favorite.

Chicken wings would’ve been good if they had been fully cooked, I just took them home and put them in the air fryer. Music was a bit too loud for a Monday morning at 11am, the waitress was very nice and understanding when we told her about the chicken she did take one of the meals off the bill for us.
