We had the Beer Battered Cod and Baked Cod on a Friday night. Both were very good. We got there around 5:30 pm and it was extremely busy, we got the second to last table available. Clean and friendly staff overall. Our server was a bit slow, but that was because he was extremely busy. Totally recommend this restaurant. We want to go back and try the other dishes, we love Mexican food. Went back for Lunch and got the fish again. Still want to back for their Mexican dishes.

Haven’t been here for a long time, and I was glad we tried it again. Not sure about Mexican food as we went for fish fry. Moist and tasty served very hot. Server worked herself hard… almost running to make sure everyone was served quickly.

People from work order from here regularly. Place seems to have a steady flow of customers as I drive by it daily. This was my first time there. Older building. Decor was unique. A more americanized feel than authentic. Had the chicken burrito. Lacked flavor but portion size was good. Average

Nice place, with friendly staff, good food, large menu, and of course, chips and salsa. My wife ordered the Taco Salad, in an edible bowl, with raw Halapenos, cheese, ground beef. I had the Mombo Combo Fajitas – steak, chicken, shrimp, with rice, black beans, and other sides. If you enjoy cribbage – hey look- they have a cribbage board and deck of cards on the condiment rack. Nice touch!

Upon Entry, my husband and I were greeted & seated. Shortly after we sat down, our waitress greeted us too and asked about the drinks. We told her water to start, and come back a little later..She said okay 🙂 At the time, there was plenty of tables that were full and she was assisting. Her fellow co-workers were helping out with food orders, too. Great Teamwork! The food was hot, and delicious. Tasted absolutely amazing. I definitely had a party in my mouth(figure of speech). Overall, the hostess could be more attentive. It took awhile to get our food order. But she was a Rockstar, so thank you for my 1st experience. I hope to be back, soon.

Service and atmosphere are great. The bar tender pull double duty and was very friendly and personable. Shrimp diablo and Horchata is fantastic. The tacos are ok, had the barbacoa, shrimp and steak.

I like the place. I stop fairly often. It’s right off the new berlin trail. The server wasn’t great. She didn’t seem very friendly and also took the liberty of splitting the bill instead of separating it , so I paid for things I didn’t order or want.

It’s been a long time since I have been here. The new remodel and outdoor deck are top notch. Our meal was very good and the service was outstanding.

Wow, where do I start? Senor Luna bills itself as a “Mexican Restaurant” but make no mistake it’s actually a sports bar. I walked in and there was no Mexican vibe/ambiance whatsoever. That was my first clue to what turned out to be a dismal foodie experience. Our server was average. Not warm or friendly and lacked efficiency. We started out with margaritas. Mine was mango. It was served in a standard beer glass. Here’s a tip, when you run a “Mexican restaurant” at the very least serve your margaritas in the classic margaritas glass. As for taste, I barely noticed any tequila. It was more of a mango slushee that was really foamy. Our entrée was the Cajun fish fry and a shrimp Chimichanga. The fish portions were on the small side for the fish fry. No “Cajun” taste at all. The fish itself tasted good. It was swimming in some sort of butter broth. Potato pancakes were rubbery. I’m still trying to figure out how they got that particular consistency. Tasted very odd. Coleslaw portion was literally a table spoon and was warm. I’ve been to MANY fish frys and this was ridiculous. Marble bread was decent. Culver’s has a way better fish fry than this place. Cheaper too!! The shrimp chimichanga was ok. Nothing to get excited about. Rice was dry but the black beans were good. Any taco truck on the South Side can serve up better “Mexican food” than Senor Luna. All in all, a miserable dining experience. A waste of my time and money. There are many other good restaurants around town to patronize that has great service, delicious food and wonderful ambiance. Senor Luna is not one of them.

Great place to eat! I wouldn’t say it’s the most authentic mexican food in the area but definitely delicious! Staff has always been friendly and very attentive.
