Met for drinks and dinner with friends. Bloody Mary at $8 was a joke. Do not recommend. Also got the blueberry Chilton and a pickle Chilton. Both were good. Heavy dishes were very filling but not just a punch of flavor. Got the chili rellano plate, combination plate and queso. With Tex-Mex as a stable in Lubbock, this does not compare to Leal’s or even some of Rosa’s dishes. A miss for us.

We had lunch at Senor Chubby’s on a Tuesday. The place was full, but they found us a clear table quickly. We ordered our lunch and it was delivered quickly and with a smile. The food was fresh and hot. The taste was wonderful and had just the right amount of spice on it. We will be returning to this location for more delicious food. We hope to see you there!

This is located at the old Gorditos location. Visited Tuesday for lunch. Loved the fresh/warm chips, salsa was flavorful without too much heat. All the combo meals have large portions – we all left food on the plate. Sopapilla were a necessity for dessert – wonderful! Good size sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar – they melt in your mouth. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant!!

What a great place!! The food was fresh from the chips to the tacos and the beans tasted homemade and Delicious. Oh and you can order homemade tortillas by the dozen. To take home. Clean place and amazing waitresses. Very efficient and helpful. Thank you for a great lunch today. We will be back!!

Wow My husband & I have been wanting to try this place for some time now. We finally went today and oh my goodness. We have been missing out! The chips & salsa were fresh & delicious. I ordered shrimp enchiladas, and I have to say these just might be the best ones I’ve had in town. They weren’t on the menu, and the cook had never made them before! I was stunned to hear that, considering how perfectly they were made. Also shoutout to them for making me something that wasn’t on the menu lol. 10/10 fantastic. Food came out quickly, super hot & fresh. Our server was very sweet. I didn’t get her name but she was working there today around 3pm. Loved this place & will definitely be back!
