Nice restaurant. Somewhat smaller, more relaxed vibe which is exactly what we like. Came here after a soccer game. If we lived anywhere near here we would eat here all the time. Our server was very polite and on top of it! Sushi was delightful.

I actually got my order through DoorDash. Prior to ordering I called and spoke with the owner because I’m quite picky on certain things. He graciously accommodated my needs of which I appreciate. The food and sushi were awesome. I travel extensively and will be back in this area soon and absolutely will be ordering again.

Best sushi around. Perfection to say the least. Ordered the Mexican roll which tasted like it was made with love, it was delicious. The employees are super friendly. I walked in with 30 minutes until closing (which normally don’t do) & they were still super nice & allowed me to order food. Love this place. Definitely found my forever go to spot to order sushi.

I have eaten at Segoku several times since the restaurant has opened. Great food and the prices are very reasonable! The only thing that could be better is the drinks. They have no pop machines they give you a bottled drink with a cup of ice and it’s flat. No refills. You have to buy another drink.

I stopped here with my mom during a visit to Batesville. The staff were friendly and helpful, extremely polite and welcoming. We tried the Hibachi Steak and Shrimp dinner and the rice is some of the best rice we’ve ever had. The rice is cooked with a special sauce and it has eggs in it too. The sauce used for hibachi is delicious and not overpowering. I got sweet tea which was not too sweet and slightly watery tasting, but it was perfect that way. I tried the eel roll too and it was very fresh and had a little crunchiness to it, everything smelled great and the decor of the place was very interesting and fun – kids would probably enjoy the hanging art with ninjas and samurai on the wall. This is a great place to go if you love sushi and hibachi, they have a lot of special rolls to try. It is a smaller place but definitely worth a visit. We loved it so much we wish the restaurant would open a location in Indianapolis.

Batesville has this little jem, our first time here. Everyone was friendly, and the service was great. The food was excellent, I truly stuffed myself. If you live in Batesville You really need to check out this place.

Decided to try this place out. Wish we hadn’t. They messed up our takeout order and we had to go back. Not a huge deal. Just inconvenient. The quality of the sushi rolls was pretty awful.
The sushi rolls containing raw fish had a overpowering fishy taste. I’ve eaten sushi all over the place amd never experienced this before. It was just plain gross. The cooked rolls tasted just ok. But the tempura shrimp still had shell on in nearly every single piece.
My wife kept complaining of getting shells and I took a few apart and took a picture. Definitely do not recommend.
