Casual vibes, stellar food, and friendly staff.

You might drive past this casual eatery if you didn’t know it was here! We stopped by during happy hour on a Sunday with a party of 4 adults + one child and were immediately seated.

We ordered a round of, very strong, mai tais along with some pupus to shar: the coconut shrimp and seafood quesadillas. Both were repeatable, but the seafood quesadilla was especially delicious! For the main, I ordered their fish sandwich, which came with swordfish as the catch of the day. The tartar sauce had a nice tang and just a hint of spice that really made the flavor shine.

Would definitely recommend isiting!

We stopped here for a late lunch and got to enjoy some of the happy hour food. Everything was delicious but we really enjoyed the fried calamari. Happy hour prices kept the bill low and the service was great.

Everyone was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Compliments to the chef! From the Oyster Rockefeller, the fresh fish dinners, to the freshly made cheesecake with homemade whipped cream. This is by far one of the best restaurants on the island. The seafood was amazing! Our family highly recommends.

So glad a dear friend introduced me to this place. What a fantastic spot! Great food selection, wonderful vibes inside and outside seating if it’s not too hot, and excellent service. Highly recommend and definitely will be back. Great Happy Hour prices too.

Amazing food (might be some of the best on the island). Great vibes and interior decoration..however their view of the outside is one of the ugliest I’m afraid. If you’re thinking of stopping by for some great Hawaiian views then I highly suggest elsewhere, however, if you’re coming for the food, the good vibes and service, and very well decorated tropical/beach shack/hut vibes on the inside then I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Honestly worth coming here again just for the food. Their pupu calamari isn’t the calamari rings you normally think of but rather a fried calamari steak that was incredibly fresh and delicious! Their baby back pork ribs were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had and I’ve lived in St. Louis and Texas!! Their ginger steamed clams were also delicious, couldn’t get enough of the bread that came with the dish! Salivating just thinking about their food again. A must eat place on the big island! Oh and the service was amazing, the server was extremely friendly and attentive!

The food is Awesome! Had steak calamari and shrimp shumai appetizers. Mai Tai drinks to start. Had fresh fish of the day it was sautéed Shutome, it was a flavor burst. Also had pasta with seafood and light tomato cream sauce, outstanding.
Danna our waitress was Fabulous, she made our dinner even better. All the staff are great.

A must when on the island. Had not been since 2018 and still great! And our local friends come quite often they tell us.

Great service from Casey as well as the host and bus staff.

We had a larger group and seating is limited for larger parties so we ended up on the deck which has an ugly view but it is what it is. The experience is still solid!

Maybe the best restaurant experience ever. Met the owner on the way in. Tuesday night prime rib to die for. Everything was great from Happy Hour drinks to Pecan Pie dessert. The server, Matt, the owner Dave. We got a tour of the historic photos and memorabilia of the restaurant. The water used to come right up to the parking lot until 1950’s when they dynanited the coral to build a deep water harbor. The food was delicious, and very reasonable prices for Hawaii or any place. Tuesday night is smoked Prime Rib special. Melts in your mouth!

Recommended by our local friends here in Hawaii, this place is such a cozy find. The food is incredibly ‘homey’ and comforting. I believe the chef was trained in San Francisco, and you can definitely taste that high level of skill! It’s easily one of the best spots on the Big Island.
