I finally made it to Scribano’s, and while it was good, it wasn’t as great as I had heard. I had a classic Italian sandwich, and it needed more oomph from the cherry peppers and some salt and pepper perhaps. I also found the bread to be a bit hard. The deli meat selection was great, and the Italian grocery was decent but could use more product. I also thought the frozen selection was really expensive compared to other Italian groceries in the vicinity (south shore and the cape). I think if I went back I’d try a hot sandwich as I’ve heard they are divine.

Wow! What a gem this place is! Friends were moving from Hingham to Yarmouth and I wanted to bring dinner for them and my favorite movers, McCarthy’s Moving. The food was incredible! The chicken parm, meatballs, salads, ziti and bread all well packaged, fresh and perfectly seasoned.

Had to be the best Veal Parm sandwich I’ve ever had. Cutlet was perfect. San Marzano sauce. So much veal I had to eat some of the cutlets before I picked it up!

Great sandwiches with quality ingredients and lots of flavor. Overall we enjoyed what we ordered but were slightly disappointed that the eggplant caprese panini only had a single layer of eggplant parm in it. It was mostly bread and not enough to satisfy. The other selections we had were good and the bread is fresh. A good place to go for lunch but it can get busy so be prepared to wait a while.

Times have changed. This place has gone down hill. Years ago I gave 5 stars. Today was so bad I would not go back. The meat was sliced really badly (15 dollars for a sandwich) photo attached. It also did not taste good, not like it has in the past, lower quality over all?
My freind ordered a chicken salad and the bread was completly stale inedible, it should not have been served.

Too much roll (bread) which takes away taste of components inside. I won’t give this place a second chance. Everyone will have better luck across the street at Jake Rooneys. AND 25 minutes is too long to get takeout sandwich.

I get a sandwich from Scribanos almost every week and they never disappoint. My favorites are the classic Italian sub and the turkey club panini. The arugula pasta is also really nice as a side dish.

Amazing packed sandwich! I ordered the #3: Super Italian – Mortadella, ham, salami, capicola, provolone lettuce, tomato, onion, balsamic vinaigrette on a sub roll. I didn’t call ahead and it took about 10-15 minutes to make, which is pretty great considering how popular this place is.
The sandwich was hearty and I added hot peppers which added a nice amount of heat. I’d definitely come back to check out some of their other sandwiches!
You have the option to dine in or take out and if you would like to do takeout, I’ve seen many people call ahead or pay online.

The two of us split the Super Italian. Awesome taste, great size, and fair price. This was the best sandwich that I’ve had in a long time!

Food is great! Staff is friendly. Just one critique. My order was messed up twice in a row. I ordered yesterday, a chicken pesto panini and asked to add tomato and the woman taking my order on the phone (who didn’t seem familiar at all with the menu) said it already came with tomato so “no need to add”. Came with no tomato on it. Today I ordered again and in the sandwich I got it had tomato in the description and it came with no tomato again. I even asked for onion and she said “it comes with it” and it wasn’t on there either. Not a big deal but just a few mistakes. Don’t get me wrong, she’s sweet. Just doesn’t seem to understand orders well. Take care!
