I have driven by this place probably 200 times in my life and never realized it was a restaurant. When I discovered that it was, I had to try it as I have lived not far for a long time (and on the west side of town my entire life) and never knew it existed. It was great.
Definitely has its own vibe. I love that they open at 10 and close when they sell out. Something about not being so rigid is refreshing to see. The woman working the counter was extremely nice (and may or may not have paid for my Cannoli for it being my first visit).
Immediately you see that they have baked goods in the display. They also have other treats like pasta salad and soda. they also sell pasta sauce and fresh baked bread. I went with the meatball sub with cheese and peppers which was fantastic. It came with Lay’s potato chips, and I had a can of coke with it. I also got a slice of the banana bread which didn’t last long.
This place was great. A hidden gem. Simple but delicious food. A local secret of simplicity and great food. You can’t really beat a place like this, and I am glad I found it.
Speaking of finding it, may I recommend some additional signage? I mean it when I say I have driven this section of Marshall hundreds of times in my life and had no idea this place was even a restaurant.

Gargaro’s is a hidden gem. Family-owned for 39 years, and it shows. The meatball sandwich hit the spot, and my wife loved the Italian. We grabbed a few homemade cookies too — ridiculously good. If you’re in the area, definitely worth stopping in for a quick bite to go.

Can’t believe this place is in business. Went in and asked for a container of egg salad instead of a sandwich and the lady behind the counter said yes but never come back here and order that again, I’ll do it one time only. I said no problem then order another sandwich and another egg salad sandwich. Paid and left. Got to my car with no egg salad sandwich so I walked back in to hear the lady behind the counter telling the next customer about our interaction and she said egg salad isn’t that hard to make why dont people just make it at home if they want a container of it. The customer said why didnt you charge him for the whole sandwich and she said oh I did I guess you cant fix stupid…all because I politely asked for a container of egg salad instead of a sandwich! What is wrong with people?

Gargaros is a great Italian family owned and operated small business in Arvada. I stop in here atleast one time a week for either an Italian grinder loaded with capicola & banana peppers or an Italian sausage sandwich with cheese and peppers. Have to have dessert so I go for the cookies, I really like the chocolate chip pumpkin. All around this is an awesome establishment, service is wonderful and the staff is friendly (they remember all their customers and generally what they order also).

Love this place! Amazing bakery in north Denver! Freshly made bread and pastas! Their Italian Grinder is to die for! The cookies and cannolis are amazingly huge!
