BEST SHAWARMA EVER. Period. Nothing else needs to be said. Baba ghanoush + a shawarma platter. Don’t read any other reviews, don’t think about it— just go. It’s a must-stop if you’re in Richmond.

Several variations of Shawarma. Nice presentation, great portions, but for my tastes it was relatively flavorless. Came out to $25 for lunch to have a mixed plate, soda, and a tip.

The food it just not good. Order Uber eats to my hotel. 3 minutes drive from the restaurant. The kebab just not taste good. The chicken shawarma it’s not a shawarma it’s just chicken with FULL of white sauce on it which I didn’t even asked. The pita not fresh and the rice is just dry. The only good thing on this order was the Cola can. The worst french fries I’ve ever had in my life I bet the french fries cooked 2 hours before I got it. This is not the right way to do business. Respect your customers – this is just not a good food.

I just discovered this place and I’m so happy about it. I had tried to get food from another place on Doordash, and it was a little late and they canceled my order. So I looked around for a second choice nearby. If I had know how good the chicken shawarma was, Scott’s would have been my first choice! I haven’t had shawarma this good since I lived near DC. It’s exciting to find the real deal – the bread and sauces were great too. I can tell I will crave this, but now I want to explore the menu too. I’ll definitely be back!

Hands down my favorite shawarma spot in Richmond. I have been a customer for almost 4 years and I have never walked away from here unsatisfied. Portions are generous, price is fair, quality is good and consistent, and the staff is friendly, in particular the owner who is very attentive. The first thing I ever ordered from here was the falafel on saj with everything and spicy garlic sauce. In 4 years, the flavor has been the same everytime and it is still my favorite thing to order. I have brought family and friends here and they all share the same sentiment.
If you want good shawarma, or an amazing burger with a twist, come to Scott’s Shawarma

The first time I ordered Scott’s I was so impressed! It was so much food and such a good price. It was so delicious I couldn’t wait to order again. I got it today and there was so much inedible gristle. I’ll spare you the pictures of the food I attempted to chew. And towards the bottom, the meat started tasting a little metallic? So, I guess this screw? Spacer? would explain why. So disappointed! I literally got the bottom of the barrel scraps for this order. Bummer!

I asked for spicy garlic, hot sauce, white sauce. There is no spicy garlic, and hot sauce as you can tell . I’m pissed because the claim he put it on there but if you look where is because the only thing on my food is the white sauce .

Customer service was quick and friendly. Love the spacing in this location. The guy behind the counter kept checking in on me and my friend while we sat and ate our lunch. Very welcoming and chill atmosphere. Food is fresh and good.

Just got Uber eats to deliver some dinner. Unfortunately, a bad choice. I got the chicken kabob with tabbouleh. But they packed the hot chicken on top of the tabbouleh, so by the time it got here, the salad was warm and the bottom of the package had a pool of water. It also came drenched in sauce, which, fine, was my fault for asking for it thinking it would come on the side. It did not.
Also, got the 9 dollar greek salad, which was the size of a side salad (see pictures), and was dressed, so got here with wilted sad lettuce and no feta cheese. How can it not have feta.
We did get some free falafel… which was too dry and burnt. The hummus was too runny.
The chicken itself was fine, and my wife’s meat had good flavor. Everything else was bad. It might have been the delivery, but, they could have packaged things with more care and attention to detail: don’t put hot chicken in with cold tabbouleh. Don’t dress the salad, don’t drench everything in sauce, put it on the side.
I won’t be back.

Scott’s Shawarma is a great spot! Near the Science Center, it’s an easy spot to grab takeout (or sit inside at one of the few tables). Since Toast wasn’t working, we called in our order. Sadly, most of our orders were wrong, but it still tasted good. The spice on the chicken pops! The tortilla that the sandwiches come in is excellent. I enjoyed my chicken shawarma sandwich with spicy garlic sauce, pickled cucumbers, lettuce, and onions.
