Wonderful food, we went for dinner but truthfully all of the appetizers looked so good we went with that. The clam chowder was spectacular. And I have to say the creme brulee was probably one of the best I’ve had in a very long time, I would go back just for the creme brulee.

After several recommendations, I finally made my way to Scott’s Seafood in San Jose—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, everything about the experience was exceptional.

The ambiance was spot on, beautifully decorated with an inviting atmosphere. For those who enjoy dining outside, the outdoor patio seating adds a lovely touch.

Service was equally impressive. Hugo, my waiter, was attentive and knowledgeable, suggesting the almond-crusted New Zealand seabass—a choice that did not disappoint. To start, I had a cup of their Boston clam chowder, and let me say, it was one of the best I’ve had from coast to coast. Rich, flavorful, and comforting. I also decided to try their watermelon mojito mocktail, which was refreshing and delicious.

Scott’s Seafood has truly earned a spot on my list of favorites, and I will definitely be returning! Highly recommended for seafood lovers and anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in San Jose.

Worst quality ribeye ever. Really inedible. I could have had a better steak at dennys. For $80 thay steak should have been edible, but it was disgusting. Mushroom ravioli the sauce was straight drippy liquid, not a creamy thicker sauce as it should have been. Raviloi firmer than al dente, not quite cooked enough. Asparagus overcooked mush. For $100 a person I would expect way better food, a bit higher end of service as well. But the food was absolutely terrible. We were extremely disappointed. Comped our ravioli. But for a steak and cheaper bottle of wine our bill was $200. Will never be back. Shocked the reviews were good. It was some of the worst food I have had at a restaurant in a long time. For our christmas date noght out we were very disappointed

Outstanding and friendly service. Perfect amount of attention and not overbearing, but attetentive.

The food was great, oysters were plump and really fresh!

Cioppino was good, but different. The broth was not as tomatey as I’m used to…more subtle…the Seafood was great except for the white fish, it was a little to dry for me for such a stew.

I will definitely go back and try the paella

We went to Scott’s Seafood to celebrate a birthday, and it was a fantastic experience! We started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked, and the sea bass was absolutely delicious. The wine pairing complemented the dishes beautifully, adding an extra touch to the meal. To finish, we enjoyed the crème brûlée, which was the perfect sweet ending. The food, ambiance, and service were all top-notch, making it a memorable celebration. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing seafood and a great dining experience!”

The ceaser salad had no flavor they use very cheap cheese and was told they’re out of anchovies which makes a big difference in that salad we all had the filet mignon supposedly 8oz looked more like 5 maybe 6oz 2 of the 3 supposed to be med rare were well done when we asked our waiter he said management was at another store serving a large party that night. The restaurant was very expensive yet they tried to add 15% on the bill that went towards the workers pay. 3 people no apps 2 salads 3 filets 1 bottle wine $315+ tip and parking $ 400 dinner food sub par and $40 to park

Yesterday 2/14/2026 my son had a reservation at 8:30pm and didn’t got seated 40min later on top of that the drinks and food took another 45 minutes, but once the food got there the steak was so bloody and the potatoes were not fully cooked, and the lobster tasted like fish that means it wasn’t cooked all the way. My son is a teenager it was his first time celebrating Valentine’s with his girlfriend and they were so disappointed he didn’t want to complain, but also paid $300 for a service that is unacceptable. Even the people that were sitting behind him asked to speak to the owner and we’re complaining about the service and they got their meals comp. It’s unfortunate that having a reservation and trying to have a good Valentine’s Day doesn’t happen because restaurants overbooked and make others suffer the experience that they’re trying to do for their loved ones. Don’t ever go to this restaurant.

I was blown away by every dish. The crew ordered every appetizer and they were all 10/10. My main dish (Cioppino) was beyond amazing. Definitely would like to come back for another session

The place was empty on a Friday night, maybe because they don’t validate parking in “downtown”?
The paella was delicious and can totally taste saffron. The halibut was nice too. We had much better lobster bisque, and creamier.

Really awesome service and they decorated so cute for the holidays. The food was delicious and the seafood was all very fresh. We had the surf and turf, risotto with prawns, chicken piccata and more. I am personally gluten intolerant and they very kindly made the chicken piccata with gluten free for me (they usually use flour but substituted cornstarch) and the sauce was sooo good I wanted to drink it! Everything was very tasty we will definitely be back.
