After our Bingo adventure we got hungry and decided to try this restaurant for Lunch. The service was spot on, very friendly. We ordered the Shrimp Fajita, it was good but not amazing. We also had the Smothered Burrito, which I did not enjoy, it was not fresh and also it felt to me like a Burrito wrapped in Lasagna, that combination of flavors did not work for me. I liked the churros and the wings were nice and crispy. Place is beautiful and at night it becomes like a club, I saw people dancing and a DJ when I passed by. Sangria was very presentable, taste wise it was good.

Another BNEG establishment doing things right. This place has been around for awhile in Foxwoods. Nice restaurant early evening then transforms into bar/club scene. Food came out quick and hot. Servers are always nice and atmosphere matches the theme. Happy hour 5 to 6.

I’m going to be honest, in at least ten years of going to Foxwoods, I’ve never been to Scorpion Bar during the day. We went for dinner and on our way in we saw a sign that said the patio was open so we decided to sit there. The view was nice (see picture), but the AC units made it sound like a helicopter was landing behind you the whole time. We were the only ones on the patio, but the waitstaff did a great job tending to our needs regardless. The table was a little small as were some of the offerings. The Esquites was pretty disappointing, but the empanadas and chicken and churros were all pretty decent. I wouldn’t say it is the best restaurant in Foxwoods, but the prices were reasonable and there was no wait. Not blown away, but not disappointed either.

Love the darkness of this place, especially in contrast to all the flashing bright lights of the games right outside. This place has a goth vibe lol its very relaxing and the bartenders I encountered were nice. We just went acouple times to the bar.

Overall, I would rate this restaurant an exact rating of 4.2/10. The food was mediocre and bland. To start off, the cauliflower bites tasted like water and the sauce had no flavor. Then, the restaurant was really dark, so it kinda made the atmosphere really off-putting. The service was fine except they forgot my sprite order and they had really long wait times for a restaurant that was half full. Now, the main course was ok. We got a vegetable fajita that wasn’t flavourful at all and was cooked incorrectly. Then we got a Abode shrimp taco which was ok as well, however every tortilla we got was soggy. Finally we got the Diablo chimichanga that was better than the rest of the food was still wasn’t that special (it had a sauce that kinda tasted like ketchup). As a final note, I wouldn’t suggest going here as there are definitely better options in foxwoods casino. 🙂

Terrible service. My husband and I were staying at Foxwoods tower for our anniversary weekend. I am blind in one eye and almost blind in my other eye. We attempted to go to this scorpion bar as our third bar for the night, having only had one drink at each bar and therefore very sober. I was not using my cane at this bar as I had left it in the hotel room because I was walking with my husband and I thought it would be easier to walk without my cane. We paid a $10 cover charge each, so $20 total and upon walking up to the bar when I was asking my husband to read the menu the bartender refused me service because he believed I was intoxicated because I needed my husband to read to me and I could not make eye Contact. We attempted to speak to the host and manager named Tom DelSanto upon exiting who seemed extremely unsympathetic and to make matters worse, because I did not have my cane I walked into some of the security barriers. We did receive our cover charge back however our anniversary weekend was tainted by poor service and unsympathetic staff and we certainly will not be frequenting this bar if we return to Foxwoods or the Seaport in Boston where we are from. Unfortunately there’s pretty huge damper on our weekend and celebration of our anniversary. We will not be recommending this venue or chain of restaurants to any of our friends or family or colleagues at work. We experienced excellent service at every other venue within Foxwoods resort and casino except for scorpion bar and we will not make the mistake of attempting to enter this venue again. Zero out of 10 stars or zero out of five stars simply due to accessibility and disability discrimination. This is unacceptable And the staff and restaurant chain did not deserve any of our hard earned money considering we were treated like drunken teenagers rather than grown adults with a responsible cash flow.

THE REAL DEAL. I’ll start with the positives; the service was good. Elise was vert nice and fast. The guacamole and chips were very good. The food was just ok, not great. Don’t buy the margarita’s! The glasses they served them in were very small, but the price wasn’t. $15 bucks for a four sip drink and they were weak. How do they Not have real margarita glasses at a Mexican restaurant? They were served in Rocks glasses. Whaaaaaaat?

Dark with a cool vibe and good music. Like right out of dusk till dawn. Plenty of tequilas to try. The Mexican food is very good with nice portion sizes. You won’t leave hungry. Grab a seat near the bar and people watch.

The service was perfect, food even better! I had the Scorpian Steak Burrito that was absolutely delicious, my husband the Diablo Chimichanga which he thoroughly enjoyed including the hot surprise within, my friends had other items they really enjoyed as well. Our Waitress was a doll with a great sense of humor. She was attentive and did not wait for us to ask for anything. Portions were huge and pricing was reasonable. Overall a great experience.
