Best ice cream shop in town! The kids and I ride our bikes here almost every week in summer, and the service is always friendly and fast. The homemade waffle cones are delicious, and I love how you can sample the obscure flavors to help you decide what to get. The atmosphere is very unique, and my kids love going here.

This is such a gem in Hartford!! It is decorated in a 50’s diner style and had an amazing selection of ice cream flavors, all sorts of candy, unique treats, and a new bakery in the back! Everyone here is extremely friendly and once you go here, you’ll fall in love!!

07/03/22…1950s style ice cream parlor. Nice atmosphere, polite employees, clean restrooms. Hot food is not their specialty, 4 y/o liked mac & cheese but I didn’t care for the chili dog. We shared a banana split and it was great! You can pick your flavors of ice cream, we got traditional. Waffle cones are homemade and smell wonderful. We’ll be trying the waffle cones next time. Only suggestion is need to have napkin holder on the tables.

This was such a nice place to visit. Everything about it was nostalgic and brought a smile to our faces. The food was pretty good and so were the portions. The ice cream was a real treat and the staff was very friendly. The only thing was that it was a bit pricey but we would definitely go back.

Always amazing homemade ice cream! I love the cake batter, so good. Their hot fudge sauce is excellent. Staff is helpful, 50’s diner vibe is fun! Also, Grandads bakery is in the back, the homemade cakes and pastries are so good

LOVED this place!! Great ambiance, takes you back to a true 1950s soda shoppe, complete with a working jukebox that still plays records, a working soda fountain, great ice cream and cones, unique candies, regional bottled sodas, baked goods and awesome mac n cheese. Awesome, friendly staff and service too. They just don’t make ’em like this anymore! Highly recommend!!

This is an amazing ice cream place with a good little lunch/dinner menu. Tons of unique ice cream flavors and classic candies. Stopped by for lunch yesterday and loved it. The my kids had the Mac and cheese which was amazing and creamy. They couldn’t eat it all so I very happily finished their bowls for them. I had the pulled pork which was the perfect amount of meat the bread combo. It came on a quality bun and a doll spear. My girlfriend had the chicken sandwich which she loved. Came with lettuce and tomato. Their ice cream is homemade and their cherry cheesecake flavor was awesome. The owners said they make homemade cheesecake to add to the batter. Will definitely be back often.
