We popped in at 2pm on a Saturday afternoon on our way to a wedding. Had a great conversation with the owners. We tried the famous chicken salad and potato salad. Both homemade and WOW amazing. Several dressings are homemade. Locals buy the dressing and salad buy the pints. They make their own chai tea blend and it’s by far the best we have had!!

We are somewhat irregular guests here (several+ times a year). Service is Acceptable (very busy kitchen with carryout), good food (regardless of what you choose), along with an exceptional potato salad, & fried chicken (they seem to sell a lot of it). Expect to pay around $7-12 per meal/person (with a soda or 2). A place you cannot go wrong with stopping at, (especially with the limited choices between Mitchell, SD, & the Nebraska border along SD-37).
