To be quite honest the pastries were incredibly disappointing. I got a few different things to try including a bear claw, blueberry strudel and fruit tart, and they were all very dry, hard and didn’t seem fresh at all. In addition to this, both the strudel and the bear claw had little to no filling, and the icing on top was super hard and dense. The fruit tart crust crumbled and broke off when I tried to cut it, aside from the fruit on top it was lacking any kind of flavor. I’m not a local so wanted to try something in the area and I’m quite disappointed that I spent money on this. The cashier was nice that’s about all I can say that was good about my experience.

What a fun pastry store, and a great place for lunch. I want to say that it is similar to Kneaders but I feel like Schmidt’s did a better job on the pastry side. I really liked the variety of pastries you could select from, and they even included a small dessert with the lunch purchase. That was really cool to see. I got the Reuben sandwich and I got the peppermint brownie with it. I thought the Reuben sandwich was great, I would have preferred more meat and less sauerkraut. My plate even came with a side of potatoe salad. Not the best and could have used more mustard. But we did have a large group and a tall order to fill so getting out the food warm and tasty is a challenge in itself which the store completed. Even the kids meals were fun and my kiddo loved the applesauce and the small cupcake. Checkout my pictures for that. There were fun gifts to get and smell treats to grab on the go and even wide selection of pastries to grab.
The service was good and prompt, but they could have used more communication when breaking up our order.
We did try their gluten free and dairy free macrons and they were quit surprising. This store was full of good surprises.
However in conclusion my favorite part was the pastries and the unique environment. Cons; minor adjustments to the food and more communication on the staff. But all in all we will definitely be coming back.

Very pleasant, nice atmosphere and clean. Lots of variety in desserts and pastries, good attention and service. Personally, it’s delispus but I found the products a bit too sweet.

We ordered our daughter’s wedding cake here and not only was it beautiful, but it was also absolutely delicious. She picked a 3 layer cake with 3 different flavors. We served it at the wedding and all the guests wanted to stay and have a slice. It was a huge hit!

A miss for us. The sandwiches had hardly any meat. I understand inflation but I feel like we got ripped off. The brownie and cookies were not what we’d expect from a bakery. I will say the sandwich bread was phenomenal

Best for a quick pop in grab and go bakery or if you fancy a sit down dining experience they have space for that too. Freshly baked EVERYTHING along with delicious breakfast croissant sandwiches or famous French toast!! I like to grab a few dozen of donuts to go often to give away to accounts I manage and when I walk in with their box they know the are going to be great! I’ve heard their custom event cakes are fantastic too. The place is so nice I went to take a few pictures and ended up snapping 25 solid shots for you to see. If you’ve never been here and are looking for a genuine bakery experience in Utah look no more!

We got a cake for our daughters second birthday. Oh my gosh! Everyone there was so nice, helpful & talented. They took our ideas/ references and made it a reality! Their cake itself was super yummy, and we got so many compliments about it at the party. Will go to them again! Definitely recommend their yummy raspberry filling with white cake. Thank you to everyone there, especially the decorator for helping this day be a special one!! ♥️

I talked with the owners daughter and she was so sweet. I enjoyed coming in here on my visit to Utah. It’s a nice bakery. I’ve seen a few in the area. Glad I stopped in and we got to talk about a few different subjects. She has the brightest smile that makes the place so welcoming. Thank you 🙂
