Classic dinner place. The dinner is small with a few booths and counter seating, but they turnover the booths quickly. We sat at the counter and were served quickly. The waitress was quick and very sweet, great disposition. My girlfriend had a ham, egg and cheese sandwich in an English muffin. I had a grilled cheese with bacon and tomatoes. It was classic diner breakfast and we loved it. We sat at the counter and met a few locals and had fun with them. If the locals done hear them you know it is good.

An ancient diner on the side of a lonely road. Swivel stools at the counter, and a few booths. Offering breakfast perfection! Welcoming, friendly staff. Comfortable seating. Quick service, and the best tasting eggs and bacon I have had in a while. Coffee was hot and fresh and kept coming. Lots of regulars, and lots of menu choices. Ample parking area on the side. We stopped here for breakfast on our way home from a date night in the city. The menu was great and then the page of specials, it was so hard to choose what to get. I decided on funfetti pancakes and my husband got a banana split waffle. It was delicious!! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Great start to our morning!

Exactly what you want from a diner. Easy to get to from 95 and easy to get back on the highway. The service was fast and friendly and the food was hot and good. We had the stuffed french toast and the eggs benedict. The coke was a little flat but it wasn’t anything to be upset about. Loved this little diner and would happily go back when I’m in the area again.

5 stars are not enough for this place! I had the stuffed French toast and it was easily some of the best I’ve ever had. Very reasonable prices and huge portions. Staff are all friendly and the service was quick. The restaurant was full and we maybe waited 10 minutes for a table, which was well worth it. They have an expansive menu to please even the pickiest eater’s taste. We ran into a local and he said this is the best breakfast spot in the city. So thankful we ventured off the beaten path to find this gem!

After living in Providence for the past 9.5 years, I finally visited Seaplane Diner last weekend. Slightly kicking myself that I slept on this diner for so long! I finally came because someone on Reddit insisted this was the best diner in the state. I totally agree with this person.
You walk in and wait to be seated (unless you grab a table at the counter, those are up for grabs). There are about a dozen to 15 booths aligned next to the window and decorations galore. One of my favorite features is the family photos displayed in the front. This shows me the diner cared for the families of staff that work for them (a great sign!).
I had the Seaplane Breakfast, a short stack of pancakes, and linguica. All cooked very well, if not a little salty (but that’s why the ice water is so refreshing!).
Coffee is refilled often and food comes out swiftly. Can’t wait to visit again
