The restaurant itself is decorated brightly, with beautiful colors, nice TVs on the wall and fun tables and chairs. The employees were professional and did an excellent job making our food. We ordered a pork burrito and pork salad. The food looked delicious and we were eager to eat our dinner after a long evening.
However, the pork tasted somewhat rancid/off or sour, with a strong pork flavor and scent, which normally would be pleasant, but reminded us of something from a foul smelling farm or pig pen. The rice, beans, lettuce, cheese, pico de gallo, salad dressing and chips all tasted great! The last few times we’ve been to Costa Vida, the pork had a semi-rancid flavor, so I don’t think the location of this particular Costa Vida is an issue. The issue is across several locations and is most likely due to the sourcing and processing of the pork.
If we choose to eat here again, I’ve learned my lesson, I will choose the chicken instead.

Ordered a steak salad through the drive-thru. Got to work and there was no steak.
Went back to have it fixed. Instead of remaking the order, they took my bowl inside and came back with old and cold meat dumped on top of the same salad. No apology, no explanation. Sad that I was a regular costumer.

JUANA and her TEAM are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, if I have to choose a great service, warm welcoming, quality food, fair quantity, great environment and how taking care of their customers, for sure will be THIS STORE. I AM ABSOLUTELY OFFENDED BY HOW THE TWO MANAGERS TREATED ME LAST NIGHT (Friday July 25th at 6:45 pm) NAMES ARE NATHAN and JUANA. They were EXTREMELY RUDE TO ME, if the owner sees this review you need to WATCH YOUR VIDEOS, I’m absolutely APPALLED that I spent $33.00 AT THIS HORRIBLE RESTAURANT and GOT TREATED TERRIBLY!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN AND MAKE SURE EVERYONE KNOWS THE QUALITY OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THE PORTIONS YOU GET FOR $33.00. Pictures below don’t lie, I took the picture of the amount of steak I got for my salad, it was so pathetic, like 4 or 5 pieces and two little scoops of beans, so pathetic I had to pay another $6.50 for MORE PEICES OF STEAK, I’m not a mean person at all and this had me in tears after I left!!!!!!! If the OWNER IS SMART HE’LL CONTACT ME ASAP!!!! If this were my business, I would want to know and there’s absolutely no way I would have employees like that work for me!!!!!!

Our family loves Costa Vida. In my opinion it’s so much better than Cafe Rio! They have so many more options and there’s something everyone in the family can enjoy. The kids meals are way better and the flavors of everything are way better. And if you like salad, Costa Vida provides a much better salad (and with two sizes so you can get the size that fits your hunger level). Basically, just choose Costa Vida if you want the best quick, fresh Mexican food.

I drive past 2 other Costa Vida restaurants because it’s the cleanest, and has the friendliest staff. If I ever have an issue with my order, they will quickly resolve it.
