Today my husband just bought some donuts from here, he told them no nuts because he’s allergic, they gave him multiple peanut butter donuts and told him “we can’t do anything about it since the case is cross contamination” you CAN give him the ones that won’t cause an allergic reaction. I worked in food service, I had my servsafe allergen certification and it seems the people at this establishment need it too. It would not have been hard to give him the non nut donuts and make sure they weren’t directly touching the nut kinds, but instead my husband risked his life because they directly gave him peanut butter donuts, that’s more than cross contamination, that’s directly giving him his allergen after he told them not to. Ridiculous. I used to love this place.

Bruh… those cronuts are otherworldly good. It was the first donut I had from this place and it has been the only thing I’ve gotten since. Was in town recently and hated that I didn’t get one this time through. Seriously… whatever you were going to get, if it wasn’t a cronut, just skip it and get that cronut. You’re welcome.

Recently it has become hard to get a good donut in Ashland, KY. Someone told us about Scent From Heaven Bakery in New Boston, OH, and we took the drive to give them a try. After just one visit I can say with confidence that this bakery has our business from now on. The customer service is top notch, very friendly. We had never been there before so our server took the time to tell us about all the different choices available and even offered a few suggestions for what is really good (HINT – try the cream filled maple and bacon long johns, they’re awesome!). The donuts here are truly fantastic and they have a much greater selection than I’ve found at other places, all of your old favorites, and quite a few new ones as well, some with fruit or cream fillings, and those in choices of icing, powdered sugar, or glazed, just to name a few. They have a light and creamy, fluffy like taste and texture, too, very fresh. It’s worth the drive to get donuts of this quality.

When this place first opened up they were great. Most of the donuts now are dry or powdered. The older lady is also not very nice. I’ve been a loyal customer and ask for no powdered donuts and get all the way home to all donuts powdered. When I called the other lady said they would make it right. Fast forward to a week later I go to get the replacements and the older lady was like so I guess these are free for you. I was like not free I brought the donuts I didnt order back and threw them in the trash in front of the one lady. She was the one said my next order would be the replacements. So no they weren’t free.

Stopped in with a friend. It was later in the day and we were curious about the place. Lady working was incredibly nice – loved seeing people working and prepping for the next day in the back- great energy – probably won’t be back since we are not from around here but was a lovely experience and tasted amazing.
