Fry’s delicious ! I didn’t like the chicken strips seemed dry and didn’t have any flavor really… On the other hand my fiance said his burger was delicious. They don’t take credit or debit … I do think they could be more clean while preparing food. Prices are good but they do not offer free refills.

Well known eatery on the square in Winchester. Smaller place, but we experienced great and friendly service. I had the much-touted hamburger and I was not disappointed. One of the better burgers around, and it appears to be hand pattied and very fresh. The onions were chopped, and thus fell out of the burger; I prefer sliced onions on a burger. The onions and all ingredients were fresh and very tasty! The large crinkle=-cut fries were awesome – probably the best you can get anywhere in my opinion. They were served searing hot so be careful when you are enjoying them! My wife enjoyed a side salad which was large, fresh and included egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato and black olives. She really enjoyed it. All in all a great place to stop in and we look forward to trying more of their menu options in the future.

Sweet place with good sandwiches. I loved their chili. Scallywags has an old fashioned flare and we enjoyed sitting at the counter while we ate. It was fun watching them make salads and fried fish sandwiches. Delicious!

We are new to the area and spend a lot of time reading reviews in order to find our next new favorite local restaurant. Burgers were excellent and the chocolate pie…. The chocolate pie made us go back the very next night! Two nights in a row and now my kids think we are “regulars” Amelia took great care of us and Annette was super kind in welcoming us to her restaurant. We will be back again next weekend

I ordered a burger, was told I had to pay a dollar extra if I wanted enough to drink. They couldn’t do refills because of Covid. However the cook could be nasty with my order fee of charge. She picked up an empty beer bottle, then assembled my burger with her nasty hands. I took pictures because i KNEW somehow this was going to happen. Nasty people wanting to make an extra dollar off every customer because they are too lazy to wash a glass. I refused to eat the burger. Was told they didn’t need my money when I offered to pay for my drink. Looks like they need something…

The burgers here were fantastic, especially for the price. Very reasonably priced and very good, with hearty portions. The fried pickles to start were definitely enjoyable, as fried pickles usually are, but they weren’t quite on the same level as the burgers. The side of fries was enjoyable, but very standard fare. Would definitely come back here for the burgers alone. Great service as well!
