A fun, light-hearted place to have lunch on a cold Saturday in Ohio City! We all were in the mood for pizza and were plenty hungry after spending some time across the street at an art show. I decided to build my own pizza, since the regular tomato sauce doesn’t agree with me: garlic and olive oil with vegan cheese and herbed marinated mushrooms. Simple yet perfectly balanced! And the thin crust was great, much better in my opinion than regular crust, which is too ‘bready.’ And to go with the delicious pizza, a refreshing beer brewed on the premises. I know it was cold outside and I should have had hot chocolate, but a great pizza demands a delicious beer!
An enjoyable lunch; I will definitely return next time I am in the neighborhood.

First time visiting this hidden gem on Clevelands Westside for some lunch. Very glad I stopped in with my content creator friend, Joey Edibles from Square Table Degenerates on YouTube. We enjoyed some pizza, Meatballs, pretzel, wings and some Browns talk. I suggest the Nashville Hot wings w/ bleu cheese! Overall great experience and very tasty food ( had my taste buds doing the happy dance). I will definitely be back to try other menu items. Enjoy and droll over these photos (that do not have smell-o-visiion) Our host and bartender was Austin and he took great care of us.

This was our favorite brewery stop during our weekend in Cleveland. The beer selection was great and the IPAs were stellar. We tried the burger special and a pizza both of which were delicious. The pizza was larger than expected and a good value. I would definitely be a regular if I lived closer!

First time, long time here. Came in to catch a beer and a slice before the Browns game on a Sunday. Beers were excellent and ive always enjoyed their pizza here. Service was a little slow and it wasnt totally packed. Was happy to catch some football around fellow Browns fans before they disappointed us. There’s always next year!

Let me start off by saying I have been to Saucy many times; I live nearby. However, the number of bad experiences I’ve had here is no longer a coincidence. When we got there, it took an exceedingly long time to get drinks. I’ve worked at a café so I understand having patience in a busy setting. However, it seemed like the bartender simply did not want to serve us. After finally coming over to us and taking our drink order, he starts to hand out menus to the people directly to our right who just arrived at the bar. After waiting that long, I’d expect prompt service on drinks. Then, when deciding between a 10” or 14” pizza, we went with the larger of the two, the fourteen inch. The picture is what we got: a 10 inch pizza with 4 full inches of crust. I mean come on, no one wants that pizza! Why did we spend more money on a pizza such as that one? To make matters even worse when I picked the pizza up from the pickup station, who I believe must be a manager told us, “Need plates? They are over there,” and pointed to the hallway towards the bathrooms where the plates are stacked. Am I really expected to go get my own plates? I might as well go behind the bar and pour my own beer. I’m a forgiving guy but it’s needless to say I’m no longer spending any of my money at Saucy. I’ve given this establishment multiple chances but it seems like time and time again they fail expectations and this time has officially turned us away.

I ordered two BYO pizzas and made them similar to the Margarita pizza but I changed the kind of cheese. I added basil as an additional topping and extra charge. When I went to pick up the pizzas, I took a peek at them to find that there was no basil on them and they looked incredibly sad and unappealing. The gentleman that handed them to me at the pick-up area gave them to me without letting me know about the change to my pizzas. So I went back to him to inquire about the basil, he and the chef both told me that they ran out. I was still charged. These pizzas were for my dad’s birthday celebration lunch and I was embarrassed. I feel like I should have been aware of the lack of basil or at least sprinkle some herbs on them…and maybe not charge me the additional topping? They definitely lacked flavor.

This is a really great place to have some pizza and beer. We came for the Monday buy one get one New Haven style “apizza” special. Saucy does a great version of it, and it reminds me of Frank Pepe’s which is the OG of New Haven style. Great beer variety too. Their on-tap list is larger than most craft breweries so I recommend building a flight. They’re kid friendly too. We had two 3 year olds with us who had fun!

We were taking a tour of the Hinge Town area of Ohio City. On our tour we noticed the Saucy Brew Works and decided to try it after our tour was over. There were 4 of us. We stopped in and found out it was buy one get one 10 inch pizza. So of course most of us got pizza. My friend had delicious Kansas City wings (I tried one) and a greek salad. I had two small flights of beer. And another friend had a blueberry lavender non alcoholic lemonade. I had a taste and it was really good. All in all we really enjoyed our food. And it was a nice night so we were able to sit outside. Our servers were very nice and it was a tad slow but given the special you could understand why. We saw they had other weekly specials and we definitely want to go back. The only thing I would change our first server gave us only two menus for the 4 of us. I think everyone should get a menu.

I’ll start with the fact that I’ve loved Saucy for years, from dining in to ordering pizzas from them for parties, I’ve always been drawn to Saucy. However this last Thursday I’ve been turned off it for good. We stopped for lunch after a day out, and the pizza was great, the service was wonderful since there was only one man running the bar and running food to folks. What soured the visit was the fact that a dog was allowed to come in the restaurant and allowed to just hang out for a while. It started to smell like wet dog and we needed to leave. On top of the smell, two workers came to pet the dog then immediately grab to-go boxes and plates for people.

A solid place to grab a beer in Cleveland.
Stopped in after a long day at work and was surprised by the wide variety of beers available. They have flights, so you can sample a number of different types at an affordable price.
Huge space with a nice seasonal patio and large bar. Service was a little slow as others mentioned, but nothing ridiculous. I haven’t had food at this location, so I can’t speak on it’s quality.
I’d definitely stop in for a beer, again.
