Sauce is one of the best fresh foods restaurants in the valley. They have gluten free and vegan options and everything is organic. They have fabulous desserts with both gluten free, sugar free and soy free options, and homemade soups and sauces that you can purchase by the jar. Their prices are reasonable. Plan on a wait as everything is made fresh. Sometimes seating is difficult to find during busy hours.

I don’t often review restaurants but I felt I had to after our excellent experience at Sauce today. The atmosphere was awesome, with great tunes, and a welcoming environment. The food was wonderful- we had the Mamacita bowl (delicious, the green sauce is amazing!) the Double Feel Good bowl (great curry!) and a ginger teriyaki chicken bowl, with the amazing sesame sauce. All were delicious, fresh, and felt so nourishing. The servings are more than generous, we ended up taking half of our meals home with us. Best of all, our cashier/server was delightful, helpful, and so kind and attentive.

First five star worthy restaurant I’ve been to in a while. Absolutely fantastic whole food vegan forward menu. Don’t worry carnivores there are even menu items for you. Relaxed and welcoming environment. Friendly and accommodating service. Counter ordered food but delivered to table service. Multiple taps of various kombucha flavors and even an impressive beer collection. A variety of items ready to go if in a hurry or wanting to eat out. Worth a visit for a wonder culinary journey.

After reading the reviews for Sauce, I was hesitant to eat there again. I’m so glad we returned! All three of our meals were great (lamb bowl, Tuscan bowl and Double Feel Good bowl)! It’s a clean, comfy environment. Also, the service was excellent!!

Any restaurant that has vegan and gluten-free options deserves four points, in my opinion. I couldn’t, unfortunately, give it five. I was disappointed that all of the meals had grain in them. I had to order individual items a la carte. Then, when I got them, I was surprised at how small the containers were. The tofu and roasted veggies were good. The Miso soup tasted like celery, not me so, so I wasn’t thrilled with that. Overall, I would eat there again but would prefer to find some place with full meals. Props to them, though, for using good ingredients and making whole foods! Oh, also, they have quite a few tables for outdoor dining. Look like six or seven…

my waitress was sydney and she just just so rude the whole time to me. she didn’t bring me the carrot cake i asked for and when i asked for it almost 30 minutes later when i asked for it again she replied in a rude voice “i’m getting it” and then didn’t and brought my check to the table 10 minutes after that. i don’t know if she was drunk but she seemed like it… but i asked several times for it and i wouldn’t be surprised if she was. i tipped her 10% and when she came to get the check she saw i tipped low and rolled her eyes at me. but i think after the treatment i got 10% was generous.

Excellent food! I ordered the Miso Love You bowl, Sherpa naan, and a chai. It wasn’t a cheap order, but it tasted delicious and was easily enough for two filling meals. I would highly recommend Sauce.

We love Sauce. We have come here probably 20-30 times in the last few years, and really have never had a problem with service, with the exception of an occasional flip of white rice for quinoa, for example. But to my mind part of the Ashland experience is letting go of some of that stress. Everything works out in the end. 🙂 It’s delicious food and the location is wonderful. Great for kids.
