Fantastic restaurant! Romantic patio seating. Beautiful setting with lovely ambiance. Have to admit, when we arrived with our hungry teenager we were thinking this was your basic Italian restaurant. We thought we’d have pizza, lasagna, the usual Italian dishes. We were a little taken aback to find a small menu of things we don’t generally order. We worried that we wouldn’t enjoy but we decided to take the plunge and ordered the dishes that we thought would be okay for us to eat. Boy were we HAPPILY surprised. The dishes were not just okay, they were fantastic. From the appetizer, to the entrees to the wine, everything was served course by course, no hurry no rush and everything was absolutely scrumptious. I’d also like to mention their wonderful staff. They all run like a well oiled machine. From the hostesses to the servers to the busboys, everyone moves with a beautiful precision. I can’t describe how not fancy people we are and yet how much we loved this beautiful fancy food. Beautiful, beautiful restaurant, lovely staff, AMAZING FOOD…. Great staff. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

The ravioli alla cime di rapa was very good, but the broccoli rabe was a little tough and bitter. The caesar salad was interesting because of the tonnata dressing that had tuna in it. It was presented like a wedge salad. The crouton stick on it was hard and tasteless. The limone e gamberi was good. The pasta was cooked well. The service was slow and our servers weren’t attentive. The setting was very pretty especially the outdoor dining area.

Fantastic experience for my birthday; I went with my parents for something luxurious and delicious, and this restaurant exceeded expectations. Amuse bush was the mushroom cappuccino, followed by a colossal charcuterie board with unique slices of Italian meat and cheese for appetizers. Caesar salad was presented unconventionally but was fun to figure out and enjoy. The main entree was the lobster risotto, and the cocktail was a Mescal Cosmopolitan highly recommend this dish and cocktail to anyone. Planning to visit again soon.

This restaurant exceeded our expectations. Arturo was a fantastic help to guide us through our first experience at Sassella. The food excited our taste buds and made us want to plan our next visit.

Wonderful experience, one dish was over salted, but chef came out and apologized and we weren’t charged. (Only reason it wasn’t a full 5 stars). Such a gem of a restaurant in an over-saturated tourist city. Perfect sized portions and amazing wine and drinks. We’re already planning a trip back!

This place was a huge miss for us not sure who left these raving reviews but really flavorless and soulless food felt very lazy nothing new or remotely interesting here. The waiter was also pretty poor never check on us and only asked almost after our meal if I wanted another drink I wanted to be like yeah 15-20 min ago when I was finished with it & it was a very slow night. If I’m going to pay a premium price the service and food better add up to that.

Absolutely beautiful restaurant with incredibly delicious food. The service was exceptional and our experience was really delightful! We were there celebrating our anniversary. We started with cocktails and Caesar salads! The entrees we choose were the sea bass and the beef tenderloin-they were off the charts excellent! Gluten free options and vegetarian options! We will be back!

This cute restaurant with a very cozy vibe provided us with a decent dinner. Decent is not what I wanted at this price point. Expect to be seated elbows touching to the table next to you. The food and cocktails were GOOD, not out of this world. Our carpaccio was flavorless, but the pasta tasted very fresh. While the prices may seem like it, don’t expect and ultra luxury experience. Our server was a bit snooty, too. Again, I don’t think the prices meet the expectations I had for this place.
