Had a wonderful experience at Sushi Sasabune. If you’re looking for the best sushi in Glendale, look no further. I come here a few times a month. I sat at the Sushi Bar for the Omakase experience and spoke with the chef’s throughout the courses. They were very friendly and informative about all of the dishes throughout the night. Knew where all of the fish were caught and of course prepared them themselves. The rice at Sasabune was very unique compared to most sushi restaurants and had a lot more flavor with every bite. It has become my favorite sushi rice over time. It was very tasty and complimented the dishes nicely. At first I thought it overpowered some of the more delicate fish, but over time I wonder how I ever ate sushi with any other rice. Wonderful meal and high quality sushi! On the pricey side, but you come here for the excellent quality and know what you’re getting. I can’t wait to come back! Pro-tip, the chef’s like Yamahai Sake
