Horrible zero star experience!
I have been going to Sakura locations for many years, but this experience at Secora Teriyaki, located at 8641 Colesville Rd, Silver Spring, Maryland 20910, was by far the worst I have ever had.
There was absolutely no sense of urgency from the staff. I waited 15 minutes and there was still no food, no explanation, and no communication. The manager clearly did not care and made zero effort to resolve the situation or even acknowledge the delay in a professional way.
After standing there with nothing happening, I finally asked for my money back and walked out. That says everything. When a longtime customer chooses to leave rather than wait any longer, something is seriously wrong with how this place is being run.
Corporate needs to know that this location is being operated in a completely pathetic manner. If this is the standard, it should be closed. I will not be returning.

Awful experience today ordered through Door Dash, totally unacceptable. There was a piece of metal in my food, could not even eat it. I will be disputing this purchase if the store does not want to provide me with a refund. I will allow them 24 hours to respond.

I came here and got some sushi after bowing at White Oak, and the food was really good! Everything was to-go due to COVID; we got the California Roll, the Spicy Tuna Roll, and the Shrimp Tempura Roll, as well as Miso Soup. All were very delicious and the wait time was very reasonable!

Came here like an hour before closing. They teriyaki chicken came out faster than expected- probably because they making extra since they were closing soon. The chicken was pretty good and the portion size was alright though adding more sauce to it wouldnt hurt. The white rice wasnt cook- was a bit fluffy and dry in a good way like al dente. The sushi wasn’t bad but wasn’t good… was alright. At least it tasted better than the cold sushi you get at the grocery stores.

This rating is for this particular location. Other Sarku places I’ve been to were 4-5 stars. I have not been at this location in a long time, and it was much better then.
The noodles I ordered were overcooked. Everything else was just okay. The differences are service and cleanliness. Each place varies.

every single time i go here i have to wait 20-30 minutes to get my food which would be okay if they are busy… they are not…. on top of that they get my order wrong even after specifically asking the cashier 3x ….. oh a cup of water ? nope not here ! after overpaying for crappy food the least you can do is give me a damn cup of water ? i wouldn’t want my worst enemy eating here. do better sarku seriously it’s not that hard
