Don’t know what is given for them to assume I’m a vegetarian. Order broccoli beef and get broccoli ONLY. The boiled sliced meat has more cabbage in it than the meat. the meat is also too fat to eat. Overall not worth it

We prefer takeout from EVO any day rather than the P place. The EVO dishes change every day?!!! EvO just tastes better and is a really good value for the lunch special plates. The staff are as friendly as expected, generous on serving sizes, and fast.

The quality of the food even at take out was pretty good.
The crawfish per sis was fresh and tasty, properly seasoned and well cooked.
The sweet and sour fish fillet a tad sweet and missing some spicy element but light batter and well fried.
The beef noodle soup had tasty soup but the noodle was not. Fresh shanghai bok choy did help.
The Napa cabbage in soup was mostly pork and preserved egg mixed in and not enough soup
The jelly dessert 冰粉 is amazing. Brown sugar syrup on bottom with clear jelly mixed in with some golden raisins and haw chips.
The sticky mochi dessert was lackluster .
Great service and a goto for a few chosen dishes.

Sunday pass by Champaign,met this restaurant ,have to give them THUMb! Friendly and delicious! The waiter recommended special vegetables cost only $5 !We order Chongqing fry chill chicken, fish fillet with spicy and fry bean seedling. Yammmm! We love it!

Is it cheap? Yes. Is it the healthiest ? Maybe not. Is it delicious? Absolutely. One of the best green street restaurants to eat on a budget, especially for lunch. Large portions of tasty Chinese food, served buffet style (pick 2 entrées with choice of rice) for lunch, for $7 + tax. Doesn’t get better than that.
Note: they charge a 3% surcharge for credit card payments. Also portions are smaller for their (more pricey) fried rice dishes for dinner, which taste the same. They do have a ‘deluxe box’ options that I haven’t tried that might be better value.

I used to go there for the lunch express box in the summer. The price is fairly low $7 for rice with 3 dishes. The taste of the food is okay for me, but didn’t impress me. Like many other ordinary Chinese restaurant, the food was a little bit too oily & salty. It’s basically a normal Chinese restaurant for me. There’re other better Chinese restaurants to go in town.

I bet their brown sugar rice cake is the best in Champaign. I can taste the sticky rice in side it’s not like other store tastes like powder made. I was the only table there around 4pm. Chef came to chat with us and asked for advices. Restaurant is pretty old but pretty clean. Recommend!

The foods are little too oily and salty here. But concerning the price and portion and flavor, can’t ask for more in tight budget.
