This has to be one of the 5 worst places I have eaten in East Texas. The food was horrible, starting with the enchiladas with queso. The queso was watery and taco it came with the meat tasted unseasoned and nasty the taco shell was full of grease. We asked for double rice no beans. We get a full plate of beans and a spoonful of rice. The server never came back to check for refills. If you’re looking for good Mexican food. I would avoid this place.

The server was quite friendly and helpful. The food was good-enough to come back again. Free chips and salsa were offered. Ask for the spicer salsa because the regular salsa is almost like eating runny catchup.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while in the area for a service call. Ordered off lunch menu and was able to get out the door in about 30min. Food was good and service was quick even with two large groups coming in while I was there.

The waitress was sweet & did a great job. This food is terrible. It’s always been sub par but I think it got worse. I do not eat here ever but a family member wanted to go out to eat locally & they picked the restaurant. Food sucks as usual. That’s fine, I knew it would. My main complaint is what on earth is going on with the stinginess on the butter & honey? I kid you not, they brought out one small tablespoon size cup *TINY* with squirt “butter”…. we kinda laughed & said maybe they’re on a budget. Then come time for sopapillas & the honey was even more outrageous. They gave out TINY cups of honey – with maybe 1/4 teaspoon maybe 1/2 at the most. It was ridiculous. Are times that hard? I suggest you go to Brookshire’s beforehand & buy your own honey so you can eat your sopapilla properly.

When I first started go to this place they got my order wrong every time so I had stopped going yet. My mother in law likes the food or or there cheese enchiladas witch she pays for it her self and they was okay size I guess. Yet had stop going there for a few years and I just started to go again just to get my mother in law her cheese enchiladas and I placed an order of beef taco’s. They was alright the only problem is that I order the three taco plate and it doesn’t come with the rice and beans. Yet if u order the lunch taco plate it comes with rice and beans. It doesn’t make any since at all to me. Especially when there is a price difference and yet it doesn’t matter. Because I order tacos today and I wanted the three taco plate and I believe it was 14 bucks and change but no rice and beans. So I got the lunch tacos with rice and beans for 12 bucks and change. Yetwhen I placed my order I believe I had ask for corn tortillas like I have done before yet if I didn’t that is on me. But I expected my food to be fresh and hot and it wasn’t it was warm and the flower tortilla were cold rice dry as well as the beans. I also understand that this is not Midland and Odessa TX. But when it comes to real Mexican food I will have to go there to get it and when I place my order up there I know that I don’t have to order rice and beans on the side because it already comes with the food that we order and it is fresh and hot. At this point if I have to go back to get something it will be for my mother in law only. But as for me I will take my business somewhere else from now on and I can’t complain I bought it and mom eat hers. But I won’t be eating mine I will give it away I just won’t be going back for me.

There were two tables in the restaurant that was occupied, so it was really slow. The salsa tasted like tomato sauce and was not good. The server gave me the impression I was a bother – never asked for anything during my meal. I placed my order for drink and the entree with no extra instructions. Very fast and easy. I will not go here again.

We used to live a little closer and thought this place was fine. We were in the area last night and I was excited to eat here but I was very disappointed. The place was clean and the service was fine. However, the food was a great disappointment for the price we paid. I got the street tacos which were on special. No one mentioned to me that the fajita meat would have a $3 upcharge so that was shocking (I would have gotten something else).
The salsa has always been pretty mild but this stuff was terrible. I tried adding salt and pepper just to give it some kind of flavor but it was still horrible. It tasted like a jar of tomato sauce and my 10 month old grandson could eat it with a spoon.
The entrees were edible but extremely overpriced which will cause us to cross this off our list of places to return to in the future.

I ordered 2 Chicken Quesadilla dinners, on both Quesadillas the onions was tuff( they didn’t peal the tuff layer of the onion off), the bell pepper in both were tuff, there were no peppers on both Quesadillas, few square pieces of chicken in both! Need someone to teach the cook how to cook and how to PROPERLY peal an onion
