First time we had filipino food. Can’t say it our favorite. The food, at least we ordered, were in general on the heavy and oily side. The saltiness level were in consistent across what we ordered.

We did what most families do on Friday night. We searched online for a place to eat. My wife had a taste for Filipino food. We found Sarap Bistro online and looked at the menu and photos and decided to go there.

Food was great, place is nice and inviting. Staff/service was okay.. We got rushed out of the restaurant due to them wanting to close. I don’t think it’s great business practice to rush customers out the door just because you want to close (dinner time) is at 8..and they closed early by kicking us out. Service was slow and had to ask for beverage twice. Other than that , I enjoyed the food very much

Really enjoyed my visit to Sarap Bistro. They are taking the COVID protocols pretty seriously from what I could tell which was a comfort for someone who is cautious about dining out. In addition to confirming vaccination status they also took temperatures and gave hand sanitizer as you entered.

Me and my wife dined in on 4/23/2023. We ordered the bangus sisig, lechon kawali. Both very crispy and flavorful. The halo-halo and mango pie were both very good desserts to top off our meal. It was nice to see a good inflow of patrons. Despite being short-staffed, our food was prepared at a very reasonable time. The restaurant had an “Assistance Needed” sign on their door, and I think they only had 1 chef and 1 server at the time, so me and my wife expected to wait a little longer for our food. No problem at all though. Make conversation, listen to music. That is part of the dining experience! We still received our food in about 30~ mins. There was a party of four that arrived not too long after us which included an older gentlemen, his adult son and two others. Older gentlemen was very rude to the establishment in my opinion. And his adult son was no help. They lied to the owner and said they waited “one hour” for their food (when it had only been about 30~ mins or so) and were very demanding. Despite their behavior, the owner acted very swiftly and gracefully to ensure patrons were satisfied. And to be fair, it was a lot of food for 1 chef to cook. Can’t please everyone I guess. All in all, good food and friendly staff. Will visit again for sure.

The place was great but the Price wasn’t exactly the same online. It was different on the physical menu. I was very disappointed. I ordered: lumpia- Online was $ 6.50 then on their physical menu at the restaurant was $10.95 rice $3 – $5. karekare $14.50- 17.95 ,bistek $13.40- $16.95 Liempo $12.50-$14.96, Halo Halo $12.$16.95. It doesn’t make sense. I wasn’t happy at all.

We had a wonderful first time here at Sarap Bistro. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The Bangsilog which was boneless baby milkfish with two eggs and garlic fried rice was delicious and not greasy at all. The Pinakbet was wonderful with perfectly cooked okra and bitter melon. The Bihon Guisado and Chicken Adobo did not disappoint. All the dishes were prepared very well. We’ll definitely return!
