A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant along with my family. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I was greeted with warm hospitality and an inviting ambiance that set the stage for an unforgettable culinary experience.

The little signs posted everywhere cheapen the place and you’ll have to look past it needing a serious renovation.

Food was great. The entertainment was great also. The drinks were perfect. The bartender explained what was in everything and how big the cups would be. They bought the cake out for my son along with plates to serve it on. They made his birthday experience perfect!!!!!

The food was nicely prepared and chef nice. Super hot while sitting there…very uncomfortable….couldn’t wait to leave to get fresh air!! When you walk in it feels old and definitely needs a remodel. There we all sorts of hand-written signs pasted all over the entrance and on the waiting area walls. ….don’t do this, don’t do that, we don’t do that, don’t EVERTHING!! Not very tasteful and I was not the only one in our group that mentioned the negative signs. Even their answering machine sounds not customer friendly!

Sappari has added a new restriction on their door that states there is no sharing. This policy is not on their menu nor is it online so it surprised some customers who where seated at my same table. This party of 5 had two individuals asked how to get smaller portions due to weight loss surgery as they have been given this accommodation at this restaurant before. The waitress would not make any accommodation this time stating the new handwritten rule on the door. They tried to order appetizers and this was not allowed. The waitress stated another rule that is not written anyplace that you cannot have an appetizer, unless you order a main course. When leaving Melody asked me how things were. I told Melody I was very bothered by some of there rules. I am very sensitive to peoples budgets, medical needs and wishes. She said if they had there medical card they could have orders off the children’s menus. I said they is something that should have been shared but that I still is unacceptable. I explained that this limits the menu choices for people with gastric bypass, instead of offering a half size portion from an adult menu. My 75 dollars spent on two dinners will be my last. I will not return to a place of business that does not care about the needs of its customers or appreciates the business of single moms.

You sit with a few people that you don’t know, but it’s nice to talk to new people when you know to expect it 🙂 the staff is really friendly and the cooks make really good food! I’ll definitely be back. Whenever I’m in town again.

Seems like good food, unfortunately they do not offer “sharing” between different guests. My friend just wanted rice, but they HAD to buy an entree, when I asked If I could buy the extra order with mine they said that sharing was not allowed. This also wouldn’t be an issue if the lowest priced dinner hibachi wasn’t $21. The add on for rice was also an $8 item. Everyone there is super nice, so definitely an upper management issue.

This restaurant is one of the best places to eat in Greenville. If you are looking for a place with great food and to enjoy while you eat this is the place for you. The staff make sure you are taken care of, and the entertainment during your visit is amazing. This is a restaurant for you whether it’s with family or friends. You even get to meet new people at your table. The prices are definitely worth it, I will be back!

The service was good, we had about a 30 minute wait before we were seated but that was cool because we wanted our whole family seated together. The chef that cooked for us was so funny, we laughed through out the whole meal. It was a great family night for everyone.

The hibachi plates are delicious and I love watching the cooks. Prices are high, including a sharing fee, but the quality and size of the plates makes it worth it. We have been with a group and they took good care of us. The owner Ronnie and his wife do a good job of running a busy restaurant. This place has been around for decades and it shows (my great grandparents ate here). It is a bit dark and outdated, but they clean up frequently. You have to come at 5 PM to get served sooner, any later and you probably won’t get in. There’s no sushi, no takeout, and limited tables due to a staff shortage. I hope this place can get more workers to stay open for many more years.
