This restaurant is a cozy, perfect place for a date night or weekday lunch. The food is SO delicious! I’ve never ordered anything that wasn’t excellent. The staff are sweet and accommodating. Sapori is top on the list of local favorite restaurants in our house and we always recommend them first when given the chance.

Was so excited to a new place. The server and food were very good. Service was fast. The outside patio could be so nice,it was not so good. They could do so much with the patio to make it more applealing. My biggest complaint was both of us had plates with entrees on them that had large chips out of the plate. Feel this is a let down, these plates should be thrown out and not used.

Service was great, atmosphere cozy. We went for Lorain Restaurant week. The mushroom bisque was superb! Hubby had mushroom ravioli & loved it. I had the veal (needed to be much more tender). Desserts were perfect! Will come back in warm weather for dinner al fresco!

I have been there twice with wife and Joe is amazingly! Food is fantastic, service is flawless. May I say we drive here from inner city Cleveland also and very much worth the ride. Arugula salad very refreshing, Greek salad one of the very best I have had. The sauce for the pasta, Magnificent. In fact now I’ve decidedto for there this evening.

This restaurant is amazing! The lobster ravioli and chicken parm are to die for, not only that, but literally everything we had to eat (Two nights in a row I must add) was phenomenal! Joe is a fantastic owner and host to his guests. We will be returning to Avon Lake soon and will be sure to make this our priority place to dine.

Good food & wine, but if you are in a hurry on a Friday night, don’t go. Service is very slow for food service. At least 1 hour for food or appetizers on 3 different occaisions. Nice atmosphere. Nice menu. Good wine. They need to add more staff.

We sat on the patio. Service was lacking and the servers looked unorganized. One of the servers made a face when the table asked for more water. I was shocked to see this. Our salads came first before appetizers. We continually had to ask for things, such as the soups and the specials. When the appitizers finally came, the mussels were cold. The eggplant was the best thing about the entire evening. I had the pasta with the cognac sauce and it was lacking in flavor, Very disappointed, The sea bass crust was so salty, I had to take it out of my mouth. They only had 2 items available for dessert and both were with ice cream. I was very disappointed in the overall dining experience.

Very slow service. Many excuses from the owner. 1 hour and 50 minute and no food. Even the table next to us had issues with their wait.
Now to be very honest, the food was great. The waitress needs to do a better job explaining the menu. I ordered the gorgonzola with mushrooms and penne pasta. In addition, I also ordered the meat balls, which was advertised as a add-on to your/my meal. They came separate with a tomato sauce. When I asked the waitress she stated that she was surprised I ordered them, because my dish was a cream sauce. Then why didn’t she speak up at the time I order them. Just like my main dish, the meatballs were great.
All in all, I would go again. Just hope they can improve on customer service.

Our good friends along with my husband and I had THE BEST dining experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely phenomenal and the atmosphere was wonderful. Ask for the specials for the day and DO NOT pass on dessert!!!!
