Pretty close to NY style pizza. Definitely got the vibe down. Extremely limited parking lot especially at peak hours. Super busy sometimes so inside seating is sometimes not available but worth the wait in line. Outside patio. No frills but trendy. Not great service. Looks like a bunch of apathetic college students work there but don’t need much interaction with them as it’s counter service, then you take your food & seat yourself wherever you find a spot.
Would absolutely return for a quick bite. Good value.

Really good pizza and garlic knots!! They have red pepper flakes, oregano spices, and parmesan cheese with plenty of napkins on each table! We got 2 18in pies that had 8 large pieces. Definitely a great place to grab some pizza.

Gave this spot another shot even though I said I’d never go back…should’ve listened to my first instinct. They never wear gloves and I watch the employees eat in the kitchen and resume preparing food for starters…ordered a salad and added a chicken cutlet that was so dry and old I couldn’t even eat it. The pizza was fine but the wings also were rather dry. Just not my idea of a good pizza spot but others enjoy it I guess.

Always good, quick and affordable. Today the lady that brought us our food offered to cut the pizza into bite size pieces for my toddler. It’s really the little things like this that helps us moms trying to juggle feeding a toddler and ourselves.

They offer a wide variety of pizzas; however, the names are not displayed on the showcase, requiring patrons to inquire with the waiter about the daily specials. The pizzas were indeed delicious and crispy, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Pizzas are delivered to tables based on the order in which they are received. The venue also features a limited number of outdoor tables.

The first bite took me back to my youth at Ray’s Pizza in Manhattan! This is as good as pizza gets but with more options. The sit-down tables are plentiful. Drinks get free refills. Truly a Slice of Heaven

Solid pizza spot! Not the best I’ve ever had but definitely has potential to be the go to spot in the city.
I went with the chicken vodka slice to try something different while I waited on my pie. The slice came out tearing down the middle because of a thin spot in the dough. Not the end of the world, but some extra quality control there would go a long way.
Overall, the pizza was pretty greasy, and the cheese didn’t quite hit that ooey-gooey taste – more on the clunky side if you know what I mean.
That said, I really have to give props to their dough. By the time you get to the crust, you actually want to eat it, which says a lot. The texture there was a win.
Where I was most let down was the customer service. Walking in, there wasn’t a hello, no quick recommendations, nothing to make you feel welcomed – it honestly felt like I was bothering them. I get the whole NY/NJ slice shop vibe, but this is Florida, and a little warmth goes a long way. Didn’t feel disrespected, just… not welcomed.
All that being said, I respect the buzz around Santoro’s. They’ve got the fanfare, they’ve got the pieces, and with some tweaks they could easily be the best in the Bay. Excited to see where they go from here.

Looking for bread and butter New York City style pizza? Well, ya found it. A 7.8 for Portnoy himself and earned every bit of it. Old school style feel with pies coming out hot, fresh and delicious.
Pizza itself has solid flavor, fluffy crust that aged well over the experience, paired with a tangy tomato sauce, hearty motz and toppings (pepperoni) were simple. Buffalo chicken would be the next choice to try.
Service was quick, order to table delivery in ~15 mins was the sweet spot. Recommend dining in for full experience, one of the better classic pies in Tampa!

It has been 25 years since I had a pizza so bad that I ate one slice and tossed it in the bin. This evening I ordered a 14-inch Meat lovers to be delivered by Doordash. This was the driest and most tasteless pizza I have had in decades. Pizza base- cardboard. Sauce? Applied with a plant mister. That nice cheese shown on their website? No. This was a sprinkling of bagged grocery shredded cheese (and very little of it.) Clearly they are animal lovers as I have more meat in my veggie omelette than was applied to this circle of despair. Also, delivered cold and broken, but that’s on the kid riding his bike and pretending to be a delivery service. There are great pizza places in Tampa – this isn’t one of them.
