In a community blessed with a lot of wonderful Mexican restaurants, Santa Gula deserves a spot in the top three best. We’ve tried them all and found this new addition to Skagit County to be worth the drive from La Conner to Sedro. Try their Birria (meat stew except it’s all meat with rice, beans, etc. on the side). Absolutely the best I have ever eaten in a restaurant—by far! Killer salsa at the heat you desire and an art filled wonderful, happy vibe. Service was terrific–fast and friendly. We ate here for lunch on Wednesday. Headed there for dinner on Friday. It’s that good!
