Love this place. They have so much ice cream choices. There has to be more than over 75 choices of ice cream. They also have huge sundaes too. This is the best place for ice cream. The prices are excellent. They are extremely cheap. They also have regular food too. I haven’t tried it, but I might in the future.

We used to love Sandy’s, but it’s definitely gone down hill. The last two times we went, the ice cream was soupy and icy. The most recent time, they were out of almost every classic flavor (vanilla, strawberry, Oreo, etc.). Worker taking our order was also rude. Probably will not return unfortunately.

Sandy’s what happened? My family and I have been big Sandy’s supporters for years. They used to have bomb chicken fingers huge flat ones but have gone away from those the past few years. It seems like the prices keep going up and the quality and portions keeps going down. The last time we went was probably the last time we’ll go for a while. Broken sharp picnic tables that weren’t cleaned, no vanilla, soupy soft serve, skimpy Sundays and the cherry on top was replaced with a mosquito in my kids ice cream. Unfortunately the sink or swim of places like this hinge upon well trained employees and for a seasonal business that relies on high school/college kids with little oversight is tough.

Great food however the waiting sucked. We was told it would be ready in 30 mins so we waited for 35 mins before asking to see what’s up with our order they said 5-10 mins so we waited and ended up waiting for ONE HOUR. It’s really unacceptable because 1) it wasn’t even busy barely any line and 2) it doesn’t take an hour to cook a simple hamburger and grilled cheese. Perhaps you should get rid of food and stick with ice cream only.

I waiting almost 30 minutes for 2 hot dogs…. and they didn’t put enough ketchup on it nor was the bun toasted. Not sure about the icecream, but not a fan.
