As a local, haven’t been here in a few years. Decided to get a burger and was highly impressed. Definitely old school burger, meat was seasoned well. Better service than my experience some years ago. Wish the speaker system would be upgraded but that may add to the “old school vibe” nostalgia. I can understand.

Made-to-order, solid, reasonably-priced, fast food. Ordered a cheeseburger and medium fry. Cheeseburger came with a nice, thick slice of tomato and onion. The employee asked if I wanted ketchup/or salt and even put a realistic quantity of napkins in my to-go bag! I can’t remember the last time any burger joint asked if I wanted ketchup or salt and gave me more than two napkins. While I was waiting, the manager walked by and made sure I’d been helped. This review is for the CUSTOMER SERVICE !! Especially to the Spanish man or whatever ethnicity he is. This the second time I ran across him in the morning with a bad attitude! Now I have been there busy or not and never had an issue when I’ve asked for something after getting my order in drive thru. I asked for a cup of ice and his rude self said he couldn’t give me a cup of ice because they were busy, I asked him if he was serious and he said yes and walked off. I don’t know the management but I definitely want to complain about him. If you wake up in a bad mood and you in some type of customer service industry you don’t need to go to work with that type of attitude, rather its busy or not I could of got my CUP OF ICE!!!

First time ever having this place, it’s small but delicious!! I got the Philly and my man got a cheeseburger and we split a medium fry, the Philly was def on point and he’s had the cheeseburger twice and has said they are great! Keep up the good work sandwich inn

Absolutely fantastic fresh burger. This is by far my favorite authentic American food spot in town. It’s a very small drive through/ walk up window and I have to assume the staff is a team of 4 or 5 people tops. The quality of the burger and fries I tried was absolutely phenomenal. A large fry is ACTUALLY A LARGE FRY HERE. They didn’t skimp or hold back on those golden morsels. And the Ingredients on the burger were extremely fresh. My tastebuds were pleased all around. The prices are extremely fair. And the food comes relatively fast. I will say it’s worth a call before you drive over as their hours vary based I believe on when they sell out of food for the day. I had been trying to go here for some time before I actually caught them while they were open.

Have loved Sandwich Inn for over 4 decades . Their fries are the best! Burgers are fantastic, but for me it’s all about the hot ham and cheese. Friendly people, great food. Gainesville tradition!
