Oh, Sandwich Express! It is such a great memory for my friends and me that I have to keep going back every chance I get! You see, we’ve been going since 1997! I normally always get the broccoli & cheese bread bowl, but we tried a turkey sandwich the other day as well. So good! The breakfast leaves you wanting more/better (at least the bacon we had one time), and the place could use some sprucing up.. but I love that they’re still in business and getting their food makes me happy. Thank you for continuing to serve McMinnville and us.

My guy, Fred and I found this delicious sandwich shop! Our mouths were watering just stepping inside! It smelled so good! Not to mention the decorations. All train themed, hand painted scenes and an actual train going around the whole restaurant! The sandwiches were just what we needed! Please check this one out Fred can’t wait to come back and they all of their unique sandwiches! 10/10

When I am searching for some place new to explore I have found that places that serve really good food are busy all day!
Every time I have driven by Sandwich Express since I moved to the area several months ago it has been too busy for me to drop in and give them a try. I finally slid in during a lull right before rush hour and grabbed their 6” Club!
Everything here feels homemade! The baked goods are so incredible my wife pulled a moaning session right out of a Seinfeld episode while she was engulfing her caramel brownie!
The 6” sandwich I got was a delightful melody of sliced meats and veggies with a robust vinaigrette on incredible jalapeño cheese bread.
So good you have to count your fingers after eating one! Very reasonable in price as well!
If you haven’t tried them yet, you’re missing out!

Normally, I would say that this place is great. A little pricy for sandwiches but otherwise good sandwiches and salads. However, tonight I had such a horrible experience… we ordered ahead of time; got there plenty of time after the order should have been made; showed up (literally no one else but myself in the drive through); and lo and behold my order appeared to not have even been started; it was clear the children who were working the late shift were screwing around in the back – I could tell by the voice in the speaker that I interrupted something hilarious; I pulled up and waited at the window for about 5 minutes before even an acknowledgment that I (the customer was there waiting); meanwhile I can see inside the young girl at the register isn’t even attempting to get my order fulfilled, she’s just chatting when she could have at least gotten the drinks and chips ready; there was 0 customer service awareness from this person, and rest of the crew of what I could tell only consisted of high schoolers. Only after another car pulled up behind me did I notice that they suddenly started to move a little faster. She quickly shoved my food towards me and shut the window while getting out the obligatory “have a good night”. I would have appreciated any acknowledgment that I was waiting for my food for a while (when I shouldn’t have been). A simple “sorry for the wait” could have made a difference. But no. I felt like they viewed me as a problem to all the fun they must have been having.
This wasn’t the first time this has happened to me. I tend to give people a pass the first time, but this horrible service has been consistent whenever I order in the evenings. To be clear: this only happens at night. Several times they’ve messed up my very simple orders and it always takes an unusually long time.
I expect better service than this. These aren’t cheap sandwiches. I don’t know how any small business can survive when you have employees who don’t take their jobs seriously, and consistently tick off their customers. I frequent this business about 2-3 times a month but it could easily go to zero after this last time. I need to save my money anyway.

decently sized sandwiches and addicted to the fry sauce. Turkey Pesto is my favorite. But the breakfast sandwiches are highly recommended. Go here for a quick breakfast gives you more bang for your buck in terms of size and quality.

Gluten-free deliciousness!! Any sandwich can be made with gluten-free bread. Girlfriend says the jalapeño cheddar bread is fantastic. Good prices, absolutely delicious! They even have a drive-through, which is amazing for how good the food tastes. Way better than fast food fare!
