We had such a great time here! The energy of the place made it feel instantly fun, and everything from the food to the drinks hit the spot. Our server, Rivian, was absolutely amazing- upbeat, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and it really showed in the service. If you’re looking for a spot in Alabama that’s both lively and welcoming, this is it. We’ll definitely be back!

My husband had been wanting to go since he heard about from one of his coworkers. I didn’t know what to expect. First we went on Jan 11th around 6:30pm so it wasn’t crowded at all, as a matter of fact, it was just us. The parking was fine bc it was just us. It’s really a lounge spot, not a restaurant, which i didn’t realize until we got there. Our waitress was really sweet. The food, prices, and drink were a whole different thing. My husband ordered a shot of Don Julio, I had a Greek salad, no meat, and he had the hummus platter…….that’s it our bill was 56.34…I’m not kidding. So it’s definitely overpriced.
The atmosphere is nice.

Came to Sands with my cousin because of the $6 glasses of wine deal. Loved the vibe of the place. It’s aesthetically pleasing and super chill. The server was very sweet and welcoming. A robot brought me my food which was super cool to see because I have yet to see that in a restaurant. The bar tender came and asked how we were doing which I thought was exceptional customer service. I only got to eat the fries but I will definitely be back for brunch one day!

Sands of Sahara is EVERYTHING Birmingham has been needing in nightlife and more! A sexy vibe for the 23+ crowd . The ambiance is perfect for a nice date night or with your girls. The food is delicious highly suggest the Greek salad and chicken wings. The drinks are a 10/10 and the staff is so friendly which I appreciate. Can’t wait to come back!!! I also appreciate the super diverse crowd and the DJ sure setting the VIBE!

My wife and I went on a Saturday night around 7pm. Crowd was light. We was told we could sit anywhere. Spent $160 for a few drinks and a hookah before ask to move to a smaller table so a party of 6 could share 1 bottle. We then spent another $120 on more drinks and they try to move us for another group of YN. We was outraged. This is unacceptable. Tired of club catering to section buyers. They spend $150 for a section then share that 1 bottle. We will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN.

Everything about Sands of Sahara was on point. My girls and I had a nice relaxing dinner and then the DJ got on the 1s and 2s and it was such a vibe!! Love this place.
