Went here last night for our anniversary and everything was excellent! First of all, my husband was super late and I was pretty nervous they were going to get upset with us. The man who must have been the owner wished us a Happy Anniversary and shrugged off like eh everyone is allowed to be late every once in a while. Super sweet.
I’ve seen issues with service in other reviews, which they must have resolved because everyone was super attentive.
Most importantly the food was delicious. We had the tuna tartar, corn arancini and Korean fried chicken. Soo delicious. My husband had the short rib which was amazing with the best, smoothest grits I’ve ever eaten. And I had the Cod dish, that I’ve had twice within the last two weeks and I’m still dreaming about.
They even gave us a little card for our anniversary, personalized with the year we are celebrating. What a great night out for parents of littles. Can’t wait to go back!

My friend and I ate here tonight and the food was SO good! We got oysters, lobster risotto, and the short ribs. Oysters were very fresh/clean, the lobster risotto was flavorful with a generous portion of lobster claw meat on top, and the short ribs were some of the best I have ever had!

Korean fried chicken, grilled gem lettuce salad, salmon, Mushroom Torchio (without meat), grilled broccolini were all fresh and delicious. Cocktails were good, but a bit overpriced in my opinion. Service was great and they were very mindful of allergies

Been here a few times with friends for drinks. Tonight was just the two of us. We sat at a bar table for apps and drinks. Service was impeccable. They run specials on different nights, tonight (Thursday) was $1 oysters. We had 2 dozen….fresh and delicious. Topped it off with the arancini and beef carpaccio. Equally as delicious. Drinks are fantastic with true mixologists behind the bar. The owner was engaging, stopping by our table numerous times to just chat about life. This place has a great local vibe and is absolutely worth a stop. Cheers!!

I recently went to Allendale Social with a couple of friends and we honestly had a great time. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, perfect for a relaxed evening or a date night.
The food was very good, I ordered the rigatoni Bolognese and it was absolutely delicious. I really enjoyed it. The service was great, and we ended the night with dessert, which was also amazing.
Overall, a 10 out of 10 experience. I would definitely go back and highly recommend it if you’re looking for a cozy, quiet spot with great food and service.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here for our anniversary and it was excellent! The atmosphere was very relaxing and inviting. Our waitress Nicole was very friendly along with the other wait staff who all wished us a happy anniversary. The food was so delicious – we ordered the ceviche, Korean fried chicken, lobster thermador, and Waygu beef. Dessert was an upside pineapple cake with pistachio gelato. The cocktails were delicious and they have a great selection of drinks. I would highly recommend for a special occasion or date night. We’ll definitely be going back soon!

Allendale Social is an elegant Botique style restaurant serving farm to table cuisine. We started out with the beetroot salad and the sweet corn arancini. The beetroot salad was very good with the pistachio pesto giving it a nice texture. The sweet corn arancini we wouldn’t order again. You couldn’t taste any sweet corn, and the appetizer was very bland. For entrees we had the black truffle risotto and the lobster thermidor. The black truffle risotto was OUTSTANDING! It was the best truffle risotto I ever had! The lobster Thermidor was EXCELLENT! For desserts we had the warm apple crisp and the hazelnut chocolate crunch. Both were very good! The hazelnut chocolate crunch was very rich and for serious chocolate lovers like myself. I’m so glad I found this gem in Allendale NJ. I highly recommend dining at Allendale Social!

Came here for the first time last weekend, and was blown away. Definitely one of the best spots to eat in bergen county. The space is so well decorated down to every detail, and it is the best mix of cozy and elegant. The service was also top notch. The food was the highlight as it should be. Oysters, polenta fries, and the unique arancini were all excellent. For entree I had the free bird chicken which was excellent. Couldn’t reccomend enough.

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner. Food was excellent and the live music was great. They just so happened to play our wedding song which was perfect. My husband and I had the tuna tartar and scallops as an appetizer. The scallops were over this creamy sweet corn chowder with corn salsa and croutons – it was amazing and the best scallops I’ve ever had! Tuna tartar was delicious too. My husband had the pork chops with this mustard crust and eggplant sauce and I had veal milenase with an arugula salad on top. Both were really delicious meals. The veal was huge and definitely could have split that. Even though we were so full, we still managed to get the yummy Pineapple cake and hazelnut chocolate mousse for dessert.
