Our visit to Sandpiper in Clinton was a true Southern seafood feast with something for everyone at the table. The casual atmosphere, excellent service, and generous portions made the experience warm and welcoming.
The oysters Rockefeller were by far the highlight of the night — hot, cheesy, and packed with incredible flavor. They alone are worth the trip. The grilled seafood platter (salmon, shrimp, scallops) came out well-seasoned and perfectly charred, while the shrimp po’ boy burger was hearty and flavorful. The fried seafood platter offered heaping portions of crispy fish, shrimp, and oysters with classic sides. The fried chicken plate was average compared to the standout seafood, but still enjoyable.
What tied it all together was the service — attentive, friendly, and quick, even with a busy dining room. The staff really made the meal feel easy and enjoyable.

visited this restaurant it was extremely crowded when we arrived. We were seated at the oyster bar so we didn’t have to wait the 30 minutes for a table. It did not disappoint the food and service was top tier.

Stopped by a little after the lunch rush and ordered a couple seafood combo. Everything was hot and had good taste. Fish was cooked just right and oysters were done but not over cooked. Definitely will be back.

This place is a hidden gem IMO!!! We had a girls night to the nearby haunted hayride and this was on our way. We stopped and were quickly seated. Hushpuppies were in Clyde’s and were piping hot! I do not eat ANY fish so I was happy to see chicken fingers on the menu. Now, I feel places who specialize in other food groups don’t do chicken fingers very well but these were some of the best chicken fingers I’ve had!!!! I was able to order the 3 (came with 2 sides!) and it was only like $8. SO affordable!

Our sever provided fast service which was great. The food came out quickly and it was fresh and delicious. I ordered the flounder fish sandwich with cole slaw and fried okra. The fish was fried perfectly and crispy. The cole slaw and okra was fresh and delicious. I am local and will definitely be back again soon.

Another great meal on Sunday. Susan and all the ladies working in the takeout section do a great job. They make sure everything is right and if you need any condiments. I have always great service here. We had the chicken pastry special and a seafood plate with shrimp, scallops, and catfish with fries and slaw. The food was delicious, and the catfish was some of the best I’ve ever eaten.

So the scallops are supposed to be an order. They were soggy and full of grease. My sandwich, well you can see for yourself. The okra was soggy and greasy as well. None of the food had seasoning, not even salt or pepper. For $19 it’s a bust for me, first and last visit!
