Amazing atmosphere and service. Really good vibe here. Ashton was all smiles and had a great personality. Food was fantastic.
Only downside was the parking across the street is gravel. Super dusty! It was ok, the car needed a wash away LOL.

Great place. Fun tropical vibe. Little noisy inside but fun. Someone came by with rum shots for the entire restaurant for free! Food was good. Grouper sandwich was tasty. Fries were good. Others enjoyed lobster roll and bacon cheeseburgers. Had to buy soda, the tap water tastes like a well. Ick. View was beautiful of the lake and sunset. This place is also a boat dock so the traffic was busy. Lots of Illinois customers enjoying the summer weather. Small kitchen, ran a bit slow. 45 minutes from order to getting food. Wish they had an outside patio for dining. Next door is an ice cream shack that looked good.

if you’re looking for that vacation beach lake Vibe this is the place. they have everything you would want in a tiki bar full service restaurant right on the lake. I ordered the lobster roll and my wife ordered the grouper. We were just in Florida and I didn’t get the chance to get my lobster roll there I had to come back home to Wisconsin and this lobster roll was amazing. The sauce that they have on top made the New England lobster roll over the top. we will definitely be coming back to this place to try some other entrées! to top off the evening they came around and offered free shots to everybody in the restaurant to toast their fantastic little restaurant on the lake!

Fun atmosphere, nice selection of drinks, and friendly staff. The food is good overall, though the seafood dishes seem to be a bit hit or miss. The drunken shrimp appetizer was delicious!

What a wonderful place. The food and service was fast and fantastic, even though they were packed. Great drinks and sights. They even have an ice cream parlor to hang out after dinner. I’ll see you in 2 weeks when we’re come back.

I absolutely love this place! I feel as though I am away on an island each time I step into this wonderful establishment. It is the perfect “summer retreat,” even on a rainy day! The food is delicious, their tacos and chicken are so yummy! The drinks are honestly some of the best that I have ever had. I could not pick a favorite drink even if I had to, lol! The pina colada is fantastic and made very uniquely. My boyfriend likes the pina colada too and he is typically a beer guy, lol! I can’t wait for this gem to open up again in the Spring, it is always fun to spend time here!

We enjoyed renting a boat next to this restaurant and swung by for drinks, appetizers. Ambiance was lively, and we really enjoyed the decor, theme. Food was very good and came out pretty quickly. This would be a 5 star review if it wasn’t for our server, Marla who was quite pushy and doesn’t understand restaurant etiquette. We ordered appetizers and beers and then we ordered a few more appetizers and a burger and she was expecting all of us to order an individual meal when we just had a nice picnic on the boat and wanted to just spend more fun times with friends. Marla, after we ordered a second round of appetizers, said “That’s it?! That’s weird”. Made everyone feel awkward and bad. I own a successful restaurant also, and if my servers ever said that to our customers they would no longer be working for me. If you do what’s right, you’ll be compensated well, regardless.

This place what it says an Tropical Island Tiki Bar. The atmosphere is fun and creative. They open the lake view side on good days so you have the lake vibe and breeze. The food was prepared and cooked just right. And the mocktails, taste. Definitely worth a stop. Open April to October.

This place was opened during Labor Day and had to pay a visit right after a boat ride there on the lake. Originally we’re just going to order a drink from the bar but the atmosphere and employees caught our attention and ordered. The food wasn’t wow, but I did enjoy the atmosphere. There was a beautiful view of the sunset on the lake and the employees invited EVERYONE for a free sunset shot, I have never experienced anything like that and I loved it! Definitely the highlight of our stay there, and kids who love the sea/marine life would be entertained seeing all the sea animals (fake ofc) hanging above while you eat. Great job having amazing people work for this place (the cooks& the waitresses.) Will be coming back with my family:)

Really fun hidden gem overlooking the lake. Don’t let the looks deceive you – this place has great food. The raw oysters are so fresh you can almost hear the ocean and the lobster roll is overflowing with fresh sweet lobster. The lobster mac n cheese was creamy and filled with chunks of lobster. My only negative is that they are a little heavy-handed with the Old Bay seasoning. They have a great selection of beef and even though the sangria was from a bottle, it was delicious. We will be back.

Edit: Came here with friends today on a rainy Wednesday. There was no wait and the server was very friendly, helpful and efficient. We learned that they generally only have the fresh oysters and mussels on the weekends which was disappointing but our fault for not checking. Instead, we had cheese curds and calamari for our appetizers and both ere excellent and had plenty of dipping sauces. I had a blended mango Margarita and it was good but not great – I think it was probably from a mix. I had the lobster roll and it wasn’t quite as good as I remember. My previous review mentioned chunks of sweet lobster. Today it was more finely chopped and had a lot of Old Bay seasoning that took away from the fresh lobster taste. I ordered the onion rings that were excellent. For dessert my husband and I split a piece of Key Lime pie. The server had told us it was not made in-house but we took a chance. It had a distinct “freezer” taste and the lime flavor was not there. Oh well, it was worth a try. Overall, still a pretty great place.
