This was my go to spot on my vacation to OCNJ. Fantastic breakfast food and terrific service. The home fries are simple and delicious. The pancake options were amazing and my children loved it. My son couldn’t get enough of their chocolate milk. Really great spot just a short walk from our hotel and from the boardwalk.

Started coming here a couple years ago after the OC Surf Cafe closed. Brenda’s is a lovely little breakfast cafe. I love their menu and enjoy sitting on the outdoor patio. The service and staff is always fast and friendly, and the quality of their food items is exceptional. They put in a lot of effort to make your dining experience a good one.
I recommend trying their pancakes or French toast, but you really can’t go wrong.

I want to start off by saying I’m very particular about my food. We stopped in Brenda’s cafe after seeing the new menu and all I can say is WOW! Blown away on every level. Presentation, taste, quality and freshness of food and friendliness of staff. I have to say this was one of my best new dining experiences of the last few years. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a quality meal! Also not pictured was the churro pancakes which are an absolute MUST HAVE!

Unique breakfast offerings amongst classic staples. Everything was delicious, particularly the breakfast quesadilla and the huevos rancheros. Service was very friendly. Definitely recommend when in OCNJ.

Wow. I was not expecting this at all. Food was 100% authentic, and the service was awesome. This place was so good and authentic while tasting the food, I almost cried. It reminded me of my mother’s cooking. Thank you for that experience. I will always come here when I’m in town. WoW

We stayed in Ocean City for a weekend vacation and went to Brenda’s Cafe on our last morning before leaving and I wish we wouldn’t have waited so long. This place is an absolute must! The staff was incredibly sweet and efficient, there was good music playing, the ambiance is welcoming, and the food was incredible. I wish I lived in the area; I’d be here every morning.

Tried this place for breakfast and was not disappointed. The breakfast quesadilla was awesome, and they make a good latte. Decor is very nice, and they have covered outside seating. Don’t let the fact that this place is in the Atlantic motel, because it is run as a stand alone business. Next time, if you find yourself waiting 30 minutes on a sidewalk for coffee at Holiday Coffee OCNJ, why not try out Brenda’s cafe once and judge for yourself.

I rate this place two stars because when we originally decided to dine in for breakfast, the staff took so long to take our order that we just ordered take out instead. Once we received our food, they forgot to include the fruit cup in our bag so we had to go back and get it. They also forgot to put the eggs in our egg sandwich. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this place. At least the coffee was good.

An undiscovered gem in OCNJ that needs to be discovered. Menu has some classic bfast items and Mexican dishes that make the menu more interesting. The breakfast potatoes (home fries) are first rate and all the egg dishes were tasty. The staff are very welcoming. Close to the boardwalk so give it a try.
