Sanctuary is a cocktail bar/restaurant of inclusion, where everyone is welcome and different cultures are celebrated by their cuisine.
You will feel like you are walking into someone’s house. You can sit on a padded armchair, at a patio table, or even at the long fire table (so cool).
To say the menu is eclectic is an understatement. They are defining the word eclectic here.
The food is a fusion of dishes from around the world. Empanadas from Argentina, British Fish & Chips, Peruvian Chifa Lomo Saltado, and more.
Make sure to leave room for dessert. The choices are amazing.
Here’s what we drank and ate here:
Godmother (whisky, amaretto, lime.)
Enough Trouble (Old Forrester Bourbon, pineapple juice, lemon juice, honey).
Sinaloa Shrimp Aguachile
Thai Pomelo Greens Salad
Argentine empanadas (these were huge and delightful).
Blackened Chili Tamarind Ribs
Tandoori Skirt Steak
Bread Pudding
Ceiling Smasher
Sex (fried ice cream)
Tip: I mixed together the Thai Pomelo Greens Salad and the Sinaloa Shrimp Aguachile, and the combination was sublime. The sweetness of the orange and pomelo mixed with the spicy shrump was delicious.

Vermilion is incredible! The combination of Latin and Indian flavors is so unique and perfectly balanced. I had the Chili Cilantro Lobster, and it was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The tamarind margarita was a perfect match, refreshing and with just the right amount of kick. The atmosphere is modern and stylish, making it a great spot for a night out. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Can’t wait to go back!

This hidden gem is OUTSTANDING! The asthetics is out of this world. We met the chef, and she was divine. The food and service were exceptional. Our party of 6 loved it, and we want to come back. Highly recommend. Also the prices were unbelievable for how delicious the food was.

I came here during restaurant week and the way it was set up between multiple people didn’t really make sense to me. You pay $49 a person for the menu but they say they portion it by party size but I’m unsure how true that is. The food was decent. I don’t think I would come here if it wasn’t discounted. Also, the sangria was disgusting. Some of the worst I have ever had.

The worst food I have ever had .. the decor advertised is just the entrance .. the ambience was “depressing” .. the price for the food and the creative advertisement on the menu card is totally different from the food served .. these guys don’t know what Indo Chinese food is all about .. service was decent .. 20% service charge as mandate for a party of more than 1 for thos restaurant is atrocious. You have been warned .. the 1 star is for the pani puri, which was the only edible thing this evening .

I visited this restaurant during the restaurant week and was disappointed with the food and service. The menu advertised a price of $59 per person, but it was not clear that the dishes would be served family-style. My party of two ordered fries, wild mushrooms, jackfruit spring rolls, and pompano fish. The food was not great, and the fish was particularly bad. It was drenched in soy sauce and extremely salty. We only took one bite, but we were still charged for the entire dish. The total bill came out to $180, which was unreasonable for the quality of the food and service. After complaining about the taste, the restaurant reduced the bill to $140. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to others.

I was excited to try this place but unfortunately turned out to be very average. Just felt like a very casual place (not worth paying 80$ for two people definitely). The food was pretty average. The ambience was dull. Our server was great though.

We had a fairly good experience at Vermilion. Very creative menu with nice cocktails. The presentation was very neat and creative. We ordered the Kolkata street chaat, the paneer wok appetizer – both were great. The gobi Manchurian entree was ok. None of the items stood out as extraordinary but were good. The ambiance was a little off putting. The lighting was too bright, floors were weird looking and music was a little too loud. Nice spot to try some creative Indian menu. They have a mandatory service charge for parties more than one.

This meal was exquisite! The service and atmosphere were exactly what they needed to be: it was all about creating room to enjoy a fantastic dinner. The flavors of the dishes were fabulous; in your face, but also well-balanced, especially with the textures. Every bite was honestly just a celebration of the plate it stemmed from. You can tell the chef and her team know exactly the food they want to create and stand by it. My stand outs (if I had to pick) were the Kolkata Streets cool plate and the Manchurian Candidate main dish. But don’t skip out on the chai coconut ice cream for dessert either (it’s a Collab with Pretty Cool Ice Cream).

So been always wanting to try this indo-Latin fusion place but heard such bad reviews so it was at the bottom of the list. Now it’s indo-Chinese and still heard mix reviews but whatever will try it myself and it was NOT disappointing! The service was great. The food was very tasty. We tried the not your KFC and the taste and texture were good. A little on the spicy end but then again that’s what we are looking for for this type of cuisine. Also tried the Kolkata streets and had the masala fries on the house! The fries were nicely spiced and crispy. For entrees we tried the what’s your beef and the haka masterpiece. The beef was tasty and not too chewy. The noodles were a little sweet. We were too full for desert but they gave us a little desert on the house so how nice! Anyways this was a great experience and surprised about the poor reviews. Fav drink was my drink, my choice
The table we sat at was very dark and the side of mad masala rice came out late. Those are the only critiques i would make.
