Similarly, the fried rice is severely lacking in any semblance of being fried, as seen in the pics. The chicken in it looks boiled and the rice is white white, not a touch of fire or soy sauce to be seen. Nor any other flavoring frankly, it is so bland. The only veggies are broccoli and carrots which, again, look to be boiled or steamed. Even these eggs in it seem oddly unfried, though how that’s possible I don’t know. I have literally had free hospital food that’s less healthily bland.
Also, from almost two decades living in Thailand I can safely say broccoli and carrots are very much not traditional in fried rice (where are my tomatoes at, nevermind my green leaves?) but why quibble at authenticity when we can’t even reach the low bar of some sort of flavoring. Like, consider an onion even maybe, or pepper?
I’m doing 2 stars instead of 1 because the spice bag wasn’t stingy with the chicken, I’ll give them that.
And surprisingly, their spice bag is unique for crispy soft chicken with good salt&pepper compare to city centers. Very reasonable price and value for 3 people.
Very good from me as an asian view.
One thing I’ll give them credit for is the staff – they were constantly on the go and clearly trying to keep the place running smoothly. Prices are fair, but the location makes parking a bit of a nightmare.
Overall, it was an okay experience, but I probably wouldn’t rush back.
A McDonald’s is more comfortable than this place.
The food isn’t bad, and neither is the service.
We ordered starters and mains, but before we had even finished our meal, they brought us the bill to pay. They didn’t give us time to order dessert or even finish our drinks.
Once we had paid, they told us to leave the table (even though there were other tables available for other customers to sit at).
We were brought the bill without asking for it and without being asked if we wanted anything else. After paying, another waitress asked us to leave because they needed the table.
Feeling rushed or almost pushed out is not a good experience for any customer. It’s a shame, because the place could be excellent if they improved this aspect.
FOOD CONTENT, in the bag, approx, 2 bags of soft chips, 1 piece of red pepper, approx. 10 pieces of onion, approx. 5 very, very small pieces of chicken, curry sauce was just yellow coloured water in consistancy.
SERVICE, after 1:30 hr wait I phoned for an update.
The person who took my call was pleasant and told me it that I should receive my order in another 10mins. approx.
2 other meals ordered + spice bag meal.
Delivery arrived approx 1:45 hrs. after online order had been placed.
All the food was cold on delivery and needed to be reheated.
Order Euro 53.30
Very disappointed
