Glass Half Full Taproom is a neighborhood bar built by beer lovers for beer lovers. We seek to highlight the diversity of craft beer with a focus on local breweries. We always remember that a bar is a place to gather with friends and make conversation while trying something new or sipping on an old favorite. We hire and train bartenders who are passionate and knowledgeable about beer and aim to make our guests feel at home.

Beer list for a pub is pretty pathetic. It’s gone to a standard list of offerings, and by standard I mean you can find these beers at any good grocery store, and you probably wouldn’t buy any of them unless you were in a pinch. It’s an interesting business plan.
The food is also fallen off a cliff. It’s all overpriced because it’s a movie theater, but I would expect to have food options that I would be happy with, again, it’s another situation where wonder what exactly you’re paying for, because it’s bland, uninspired, and much of it is clearly coming from a cantina. At one time. Time the pizza’s were good, now I’d have to say that they’re a sad version of a flat bread. The sandwiches are equally disappointing and lack flavor. I basically would advise to eat before you get there.

Straight forward beer bar, visited mostly when people are waiting for their movie to start. Large tap list, same menu as in the theater, but it does have great happy hour pricing.

Nice little bar inside the Alamo to grab a beer before your movie. There’s a tv in there and about 6-8 stools at the bar. A few high tables and outside seating round out the rest of the usable space.
Bartender was nice and chatted with the people at the bar. He was slightly inattentive when I was trying to close out. I didn’t want to interrupt his conversation and still had plenty of time until my movie started.
A clock inside the bar would be nice to ensure you didn’t miss the previews for your movie.

This place is attached to the Alamo movie theater. In addition to being a bar, they will also serve you drinks at your movie seat. The theater also has a selection of sandwiches, popcorn, cookies and other goodies to eat at your seat. The bar has nice outdoor seating with extra large wooden jenga sets to play with. Nice place!
