My wife and I are new to the area and decided to check out San Pedro Mexican Restaurant for dinner this evening. Very glad we did. I had the Fundida Fajita and Sindy got one of the combo meals. The portions were huge! The food was delicious! We will be going back to San Pedro’s! 4.75 Mexican ⭐’s!

We’ve lived here for 5 years and have never visited any local restaurants because of bad recommendations. Well, this place must be getting a bad rap, The decor was fun and vibrant. The service was amazing and the food was much better than the “other”. Mexican restaurant 10 miles away. I had the Enrique Sampler and my husband had the fajita quesadilla. Both meals were absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming back here.

Best Mexican restaurant around. Servings are generous. The staff is amazing and very fluent in english. If you are coming from a distance it is worth the drive! We drove 60 miles & will be back

Walking in the door the fellow showed me to the table I asked him for 2 things of salsa we almost argued about it I’m like I’m not double dipping I’m not sharing with somebody he basically told me you don’t get any more salsa until you finish what you’ve got. I said I’m not eating at a place and I’m not paying for it for us not to have two separate salsa dishes I almost left before even sitting down at the table. They did however decide to bring out 2 tiny bowls. I had my standard rice and beans and enchiladas that I always get at a Mexican place it was not that good it did not taste like any other Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been in. And Mexican restaurants are my single most favorite place. I will not be wasting the money to go back to this place.

Poor service. They never answer the phone, especially on Saturdays, and their schedule is very inconsistent. I went there on 8/23/25 at 2:23 PM and the business was closed, even though their posted hours stated they were open. This is not the first time this has happened.

I understand staffing shortages may be a factor, but at the very least, post a note on the door explaining why you’re closed. The lack of communication and repeated inconsistencies make this location unreliable. I usually don’t leave reviews, but this place has really been going downhill.

Ive been here for lunch on several occasions with my coworkers. I try to talk them out of it , but it’s close to our jobsite so I go. The food’s decent, but the service is terrible. We only had one waitress that was polite and actually did a good job out of the 6 or so times we went . They always seem stingy with their chips and salsa. You always have to point out to them that you don’t have silverware or you need a straw, refills on the drinks and / or chips and salsa. Not too long ago I went in and I asked the waitress if I could get a Coke please, when I was seated, and she barked at me , “just a minute!” I thought it was a pretty rude way of speaking to a customer. I will probably just have gas station food for lunch next time no matter if the crew goes there or not.

So initially this place had been my favorite Mexican establishment but with the years the restaurant has kinda went down hill. The food is still good but it’s not as clean as it once was.

I have eaten here a few times and while the food has not been great, it has not been this bad. Got the fajita taco salad and it was literally swimming in flavorless grease. I let others try it at my table and consensus was “GROSS’. I have found that the quality of food at La Pasadita the other Mexican restaurant in Charlestown to be much better quality
