Fresh and decent, but underwhelming. While not overly expensive, the prices are fairly standard and outpace the food. Basic rolls and Specialty rolls aren’t bad, but stay away from the “Roll Special” items, as they are a big meager.

It’s definitely not the best sushi you’ll ever have in your life, but it the rolls are good and the fish is fresh. Samurai also offers 1/2 price rolls on certain days of the week (currently Tuesday and Thursday). This restaurant is a quick and inexpensive option to satisfy your sushi cravings on a budget.

We have a weekend house here but are New Yorkers and have access to supposedly the best restaurants. I’m no expert but you wouldn’t be able to get a table at this place if it was in the city. The menu is typical and simple but done just right. I’ve tried everything and everything on the Hibachi Grill is amazing. I always get the noodles. The chef is great fun with the kids as well.

My review was taken down some how. This is not the one friends. Went on a Saturday for lunch and it was empty. The staff were in dirty clothes, not uniforms. The table was sticky and dirty and the menus were greasy. Wanted hot tea, didn’t even have any made, which was a bad sign to me. It came in an individual pot with cheap tea sachets. Got edamame and it was served in a sticky, dirty basket and half of it was rotten. Decided, for some reason, to chance it on the sushi. It wasn’t even fair quality for the price, falling apart. I drive past this place all the time and get skeeved out by my meal still, and it’s always empty.

This place for a foodie is a real treat. If you are here and a sushi fan treat yourself to the amazing roll. It is the best roll I have had outside of NYC…perhaps even better. The staff is warm and hospitable. Great experience every time.

If you want a bug in your water and ok-ish sushi then this is the place for you. Me and my friend went here for lunch and both ordered waters, mine had a bug floating on top of it and hers tasted weird… The place was empty and awkwardly quiet. Sticky tables and dirty glasses. Once we sat down and ordered the “owner” i guess went into the back and put music on. When we got the sushi it looked pretty but once you taste it you can tell it’s not fresh. A couple walked in before we left and we were tempted to tell them to just get up and leave. Now I’m not one to write reviews but I definitely won’t be going back here.

Sushi is average, priced a little high for what you get, but a solid 3. The interior is drab, is in need of a face-lift and always empty. I wouldn’t bring out of town friends here, but it’s not bad if you’re taking out.

The food is great and the half price deal on Tuesdays makes it hard to beat! My only complaint is the waitress. Everytime I’ve gone there she asks if we’re ready to order after being there for literally 45 seconds, but then doesn’t check on your when table after the food finally comes. It seems likes she hates anyone under the age of 25 although I always tip her well…
