Jack, the owner, introduced himself while I was enjoying a flight of whisky, of which they have a great selection, including my favorite, Japanese Whisky. Jack was friendly and knowledge, happy to exchange stories and wisdom. I’ll be coming back at some point to try the food, which Jack himself sometimes cooks.

I did not taste any of the food but at the bar area had some excellent bourbon. The staff was very knowledgable and the selection is amazing. It was a great just drinks experience that I had with my husband. I felt welcome and it was the perfect nightcap!!

Absolutely worth a visit. I worked in high end food and beverage for a long time. Jack & Tony’s knocks it out of the park. My MO is to order the burger on my first visit. If a restaurant can’t do a great burger, I don’t go back. J&T’s was delicious: perfectly done, good quality meat. I would switch out the iceberg for butter lettuce, but that’s just my preference.

I experienced the most delicious whiskey sour of my life, with one of my favorites-redbreast. The food was amazing and I was recommended a nice fume blanc to pair with the sea bass. The best part of my visit was my waitress, she was sharp and fun, my table spent our meal laughing.

Usually really like this place, but last night’s meal just didn’t stand up. I ordered a burger. The patty was good and had a nice charbroiled flavor, but the bun (not even grilled) was soft and mushy, like something you’d buy in a six-pack at a grocery chain. We also ordered the crabcakes and the scallops, both of which were horribly fishy. Menu, as usual, was pretty limited and is fairly pricey, which in my mind means the food should be spot on. Cocktail was pretty average too.

For the 1/2 a small artichoke, $12, barely anything, the beets were fantastic but very small quantity for $11. The scallops and bacon, dinner was good, but once again a small portion. The seabass was very good. The customer service wasn’t that great. , was brief, as they walked by without stopping , the plates and drinks were placed on the table. No complimentary bread etc… very small portions for the price of two meals, $106.00…..kinda crazy

On a quiet Saturday evening we had a great conversation with Jack about the finer points of appreciating scotch whiskey. The bar has a great vibe, old school but not stuffy. We then moved to the dining room and were attentively looked after while enjoying ribs, steak, scallops and salmon dinners.

I only attended the bar at this establishment. The bartender was very kind and she knew her products. The bar itself is a traditional bar nothing fancy just layed back. Decent selection of scotch and has Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap. I did not eat any food but the bartender was helpful at informing where to go for good food. Its within walking distance of the Marriott hotel. I will return next time I’m in Santa Rosa.

Each time I have gone here it has been a pleasant time. It strikes the right mood of casual and fun. The bar area is the place to be. The bartenders are always fun and the Happy Hour menu is pretty decent. I enjoy their mussels and the mac n cheese. The taquitos is also a nice order. They have a good selection of whiskeys to order from if that is something you enjoy. Beer selection is limited but they have so.e good choices.
